So I like Bloodchief Ascension. I must be the only one who does, however...

The goal is to get it online, then start killing stuff. The beauty about the Ascension is that its if trigger happens at each end step, so you could go:

Swamp > BCA
Blue Source > Countersquall
Black Source > Hideous End
Black Source > Bloodghast > Countersquall
Black Source > Hideous End > Active > lol

Sideboard's also pretty nice. Bloodwitch is win more in the main, but nice anti-WW / Baneslayer in the side. Mind Funeral is absolute lolz against Jund, mono-colored decks that have thinned their decks through fetches, and almost always going to win you the game if Ascension is active, but it's win more in the main. Flashfreeze is for Jund / Naya. Gatekeeper is for those damned Stags. Deathmark's good for Naya and WW.

I want to fit in Sorin Markov and/or Jace, the Mind Sculptor in somehow. (Perhaps Beleren instead of the Mind Sculptor; not sure on that one) Can you guys help me with this? Much appreciated.

Interesting. Bloodchief Ascension helped me win a game in a draft, but I've never really considered it as mono-vamp stuff.

No idea what the Calcite Snappers are for, though. Srsly?

Snappers are awesome in UB and Grixis control, but they really do seem out of place here.

Countersquall - I honestly don't like this card over Negate. Having to have 2 specific mana sources open can be a pain at times.

As for the number of Ghasts VS Highborn VS Hexmage, I enjoy a 4/2/3 split myself. But that is MBC, not sure about UB.

The Squalls are for getting a counter on BCA during my opponent's turn.

And yeah, the Snappers do seem a BIT out of place. I'll probably drop them for a Nighthawk and another Bloodghast.

Crazy concept but I like the way it looks.
I think the whole sideboard should just go into your deck.
Keep it standard bro, extended is full of Ravnica when it comes to control.
