    Elder Dragon Highlander is an excellently fun format. It has ridiculously broken cards and combos, and an average mana curve higher than any Rise of Eldrazi limited game.

    This is my Ghost Council of Orzhova deck. Token generation, evasion, and reanimation (especially Wrath of God-esque effect into Council rebound!) are the focuses of this deck.

    Questions and comments (advice etc) are welcome.
     
    Goldmane? Those tokens do have power and toughness, too, you know ;-;
     
    If I had space for Goldmane I would run Jura instead. ;_;

    Yeah, it's kind of hard to make space for him... if I wanted to put anything in I would have to give priority to the other 50-some good cards I wanted to put in (chiefly among them Mana Crypt, Ancient Tomb, and Oblivion Stone). Goldmane isn't really extremely influential on a clear board, while Sorin can cut your opponent's life total to ribbons (and ping for 2 every turn!), Liliana controls hand extremely well, and Elspeth generates tokens en masse as GCO fodder. Goldmane... just heals you for 2, and its -1 ability is a Veteran's Reflexes across the board at sorcery speed. And then we have to remember that tokens are expendable, so they'll likely be gone in a turn or three due to wrath or being fed to token outlets in this deck, so Goldmane isn't really viable in the long run. I actually tried to run Goldmane once (along with Jura! D: ) but felt that the deck didn't really need either of those PWs and more reanimation and fieldclear would have benefited the deck more. (Beacon of Unrest and Rout have replaced them.)

    There are seemingly weak cards in this deck (Belfry Spirit is one such card, but it has proven mostly superior to Knight-Captain of Eos as a token generator - I might swap it, but it's doing really well as a chump-blocker and disincentive for opponents to attack right now.) like Cenn's Enlistment and _maybe_ Promise of Bunrei. Enlistment is really an outlet for the random amounts of excess land that gets stored in my hand (Retrace is fun!) and Bunrei... is another really big target for trigger-happy removal people.
