I don't think I'll ever make a competitive homebrew, but dammit, I'll make fun ones until I drop dead! =D
-14- Creatures
-4- Lotus Cobra
-4- Bloodbraid Elf
-2- Baloth Woodcrasher
-4- Plated Geopede
-22- Other Spells
-4- Ooze Garden
-4- Sarkhan Vol
-2- Colossal Might
-4- Mark of Mutiny
-4- Lightning Bolt
-4- Zektar Shrine Expedition
-24- Lands
-4- Raging Ravine
-4- Rootbound Crag
-1- Arid Mesa
-2- Scalding Tarn
-1- Verdant Catacombs
-2- Misty Rainforest
-2- Tectonic Edge
-4- Forest
-4- Mountain
The idea is to steal creatures with Sarkhan and Mark of Mutiny and then turn them into Ooze tokens. Pump spells like lands for the Geopede and the Colossal Mights help make bigger fodder to the Garden.
This deck has a hard time beating UW Control on paper. The tokens die to Jace, and lack of anti-air defense dies to Elspeth + Gideon. Thus the necessity of Zektar Shrine Expedition, Baloth Woodcrasher, etc.
I was thinking of using Dragonmaster Outcast (or maybe splashing black for Sarkhan the Mad, but Vol is just so ridiculous in this deck) for the sole purpose of putting pressure on UW Control, but I wasn't sure.
Let me know what you think!
