Just another idea for a post-MBS Standard deck. This might be the first deck I take to Standard, idk. We'll see.
-16- Creatures
-4- Silver Myr
-4- Myr Galvanizer
-4- Palladium Myr
-2- Myr Welder
-1- Myr Propagator
-1- Golem Artisan
-21- Other Spells
-4- Blue Sun's Zenith
-4- Mitotic Manipulation
-4- Preordain
-4- Myr Reservoir
-2- Everflowing Chalice
-3- Spreading Seas
-23- Lands
-4- Tectonic Edge
-4- Halimar Depths
-1- Eye of Ugin
-1- Mystifying Maze
-13- Island
-15- Sideboard
-4- Jace, the Mind Sculptor
-3- Phyrexian Revoker
-3- Wall of Tanglecord
-1- Blightsteel Colossus
-2- Mindslaver
-2- Spell Pierce
The idea with this deck is to get two Myr Galvanizer into play, and have at least two mana in mana Myr into play, then I go infinite with one of the deck's three kill you cards. Often times, that will involve casting a lethal Stroke of Genius targeting your opponent. Though there are games where Propagator or Artisan will win you the day.
I have a more casual version of this deck with Brainstorm and Ponder, but you honestly don't need them. They help you dig for the combo better, but you can win without them. The deck's made more consistent with better ways to have extensions of Galvanizer.
Welder, for the record, is either a Propagator that can't be Bolted, or your other Galvanizer. Regardless of how you do it, the card's pretty awesome.
Myr Resevoir is a form of artifact ramp that can help also recur your Galvanizers for reuse. Eventually, your opponent WILL run out of countermagic/kill spells, allowing you to go off.
The sideboard's poop, I know. Again, thrown together really quickly.
Let me know what you think! =D
