this is basically my friend's deck and i thought i'd try it.

    4x Parallax Tide
    4x Ankh Of Mishra
    4x Raven Guild Master
    4x Misdirection
    4x Counterspell
    4x Stifle
    4x Boomerang
    4x Hoodwink
    4x Capsize
    4x Brainstorm

kenz, I wanna see if you get this deck, hint:"parallax tide".

Looks good. I can see that most of this deck deals with bouncing lands so the arch comes in to bite them. In the meantime, you mana screw your opponent. Tide effectively becomes 10 damage for 4. Boomering becomes similar to a shock. I like the simplicity of the deck itself, but I don't see how the guild master can do much in this sense, as it's not contributing to pretty much anything. I like the capsize there, as it is very dangerous with buyback and with coutnerspelling to back it up.

I'm thinking actually that the isochron scepter might be a better choice over the guild master, since with those guys don't really have that much synergy with the whole deck itself. Then again forced spike is ridiculous in these situations.

well that's the thing, even though my deck is based on Parallax Tide, I want another kill condition meaning if i get out my Raven Guild Master on turn 3, you'd have 1 mana on that turn the next turn i'll bounce another land and i'll swing with my Raven, meaning you'll have about 30 cards in your deck by the time you get rid of it, meaning all the attention will be shifted to my Raven Guild Master, my opponent's so caught up in getting rid of Raven he doesn't expect Parallax Tide henceforth the name "Unexpected Storm".
