Wow, long time since I've thought about Magic. I played in 8th grade (Long time ago, heh...). It isn't too hard, but setting up a deck is a pain. Only decent deck I ever had was a pure green deck based on cards that would summon one 1/1 squirrel every turn as long as they remained in play. If I got a good shuffle, I could just overwhelm most other decks (Each turn, play one of the squirrel nests, which would then produce a squirrel every turn. Not unusual to have 30+ squirrels in play at a time). The downside was that anything that could destroy enchantments, destroy land, or prevent damage from green would render it completely useless, though, and all I'd have left are these elf cards I have (1/0, but could be tapped to create two squirrels). Lame deck, but it was fun to play, because it almost always got rolling about the same time most decks were set up to start doing big damage. I could throw away ten squirrels on defense every round and still come out ahead.
