4th Gen Munchlax Annoyance

    Just wanted to see if anyone is having/had the same problem as me.

    For the past four days i've been baiting five trees and each time i go back i either get:

    Combee
    Wurmple
    Burmy

    but not once have i found a Munchlax.

    It's right getting up my nose because i can find a Raltz in like my second pokeradar attempt but a munchlax evades me for four days solid lol.

    Anyone else having this problem?
     
    Munchlax is rare... I'm having problems with finding a Munchlax too. Combee seem to like my honey a lot, I've had 10 of them in a row before.

    It was said months ago that only one honey tree attracted Munchlax... I can't remember the reliability of it though.
     
    I think you must put honey in the tree near sunnyshore city, for me it worked.
     
    I think thats a fabrication because another website said that BUT then i looked in two more websites stating there was multiple trees that attract Munchlax. I'm baiting the tree below Solaceon Town, The tree above Solaceon Town and the tree in Route 215 however i'm tempted to bait the trees around Floaroma Town as well.

    Possibly.. Serebii had that written up beforehands but have since taken it down.

    I tend to bait numerous trees at once whereever I am in the game... but I've found it harder to get rare Pokemon from the trees. Only stupid Combee appear and that's really annoying when I want the others.
     
    i did at one point but kept forgetting where the trees were and by the time i remembered the pokemon had left (knowing my luck a Munchlax lol)
     
    i must of baited every tree like 10 times and all i get is wurmple
     
    Combee is good for getting free honey lol just have it in your team and check it after every battle to see if it found any :)

    I did it and after like a hour or so i had found over 25 lol

    Just remember the Poketchi's map marker is a very handy tool for this job!!

    100 yen isn't that much to pay out for a Sweet Honey... so I'm fine with that. I'd prefer the money over having to stick Combee into my party... o.o
     
    yep i know but every 100 yen you spend adds up in the end :P
     
    well ive spent about 300,000yen on honey and still no munchlax
     
    How did you get your Snorlax?
     
    you can either ask for one on the GTS or just bring a Snorlax from any of R/S/E/FR/LG and migrate and then breed. I had the same exact problem as well and that was my only option. You shouldn't bait 5 trees you should bait all of them, the same with berries if you have a problem look for all of the patches

    Why don't you try breeding? That's what I did. I didn't feel like going through the hatsle(or whatever.) to find one. Female combee was hard enough. (Found one Ran away from it. Still caught one though.)
