Hmm.. does anyone like bands like Thrice, Silverstein, Story of the Year?

Interpol, Saosin, Underoath, The Killers are good too :D

Good bands. I'm a download-er so I don't have full CDs. But I've listened to all except Interpol, I think. At least heard them before. And they sounded good to me. ;D

I'm listening to a live acoustic version of Stillborn by Black Label Society. ;D Good band and good song.[/SIZE]

Yes I am a huge fan of Story of the Year...I love their new album.
 
What are your favorite collaborations? Like Jay Z and Linkin Park and collaborations like that.

I liked "Walk This Way" with Run-DMC and Aerosmith, that is my favorite collaboration but I like a lot.
 
Gah...all these collaborations nowadays are plain annoying...x_x;
It's all these Rockers getting together with Rappers, it bothers me beyond belief...

Um, no. What you're saying is, I have a long way before I discover YOUR music, in which I do not consider bands like SlipknoT real music.

Considering I showed you a list of bands that I listen to, you just called The Beatles not music, or unintentionally implied it. Hence I suggest you take that back. =]
 
hardcore/metal type
like Norma Jean, As i lay dying, underoath (my favorite) Ateryu, and more, punk would be story of the year, blink 182, and such.
 
So how often does everyone buy new CDs?

I rarely do as I'm always tight on budget... but when I do, it's always an old album that I've always wanted that I've never gotten... like now... I just got:

Phantom of the Opera (1986 original cast). I've just finished the first Act and it's still the same musical that I've come to love and adore.

Led Zeppelin III... immigrant song is awesome... XD
