    What is the difference between an album and an EP/LP?! I have been wondering this for a long time and absolutely must know before my curiosity drives me to a record store and makes me ask someone. ^^;;

    An EP/LP is a single. It might have a few songs that are acoustic to songs that are in the album. Albums are more expensive since there are more songs and this is the main thing that the artist releases.

    Um, I don't think so. I've heard cds be called both. You might want to look it up on the net, because I'm not that sure.

    EDIT: Okay, since OF told you, I'll explain more:

    Album: An album in a group of songs by an artist put onto a disc, and sold in stores.

    Single: A single is a song from the artist's album that is played on the radio/television, and usually has a video to go with it. It's sold individually in stores, sometimes with a few remixes.

    Both? hmmm... then I have no particular clue what an EP is...I only think that it's a single. An album can be no more than 1 hour 20 Minutes... I think...that's all I know about albums...

    wow, an album can be longer,and i believe ep/lp, is just a demo like the other guy said, any cd or album or whatever can have acoustic songs. but yeh, ep and lp is another word for demo. i do know this because im in a band and all.
