Mwar? 4 moves? or, not?

Maybe...but it would be great to have more than 4 moves!

Like I said, there's something going on with all of the Pok?mon's head if they just forget a move that they could have had since starting out! Of course, they limit up to four moves in the games. Otherwise, it'd be very unfair to certain Pok?mon and/or players. Say your opponent has a Mew and it knew all of the moves. Now, wouldn't you say you're at a massive disadvantage?

Too late, Ash is in Hoenn being followed by a gym leader and a player and fought a tag battle, that's NOWHERE like ANY of the games!

Well, I didn't mean the plot and the characters.

I mean the technical bits like Resistance and Immunity, how many HP deducted, etc.

Of course there's resistance, and one case of immunity.

There ARE such things as tag battles in the games! Apparently, you didn't play multiplayer enough, Cat lover. In the games, there's the option of playing with three other players. In battles with Ruby/Saphire/Emerald and Firered/Leafgreen, each trainer will send out only one Pok?mon. Then, the battles are just like double battles, except they only control their Pok?mon they sent out and not the teammates.

Of course, I can't say the same for gym leaders following the player...

There are two on two battles in the game... two of your pokemon vs. one each of two people's pokemon

But hey, just ignore me xD I stink at my sapphire game; I haven't even managed to catch latias yet xP

Hmmm... Have you tried multiplayer with your friends? You could do two on two battles with four players!

Oh, and don't worry. I'm pretty sure there's others out there that haven't been able to catch the running Pok?mon starting from Gold/Silver!

About the other question. HP really doesn't make sense in the show. Considering that a Tackle attack from the game is pretty much obsolete compared to some other moves, a Tackle attack could may as well knock out a Pok?mon in the show! Even if your Pok?mon is at level 100, it still can't knock out Pok?mon in one hit, probably over level 50.

Game =/= Anime

The anime's alot more logical than the game because there's only so much you can do for a 2D turn-based RPG. The RPG world would NEVER work for the anime because the anime's more realistic compared to the games.

Why should Pok?mon be restricted to four moves in the anime? The only reason you can't use more than four in the games is to make use of strategy for said turn-based RPG. Since you can't move your Pok?mon around, make use of landscape or other things or target a specific part of another Pok?mon, you're limited to choosing a set of four attacks that'll work in your favor.

Remember, the games are NOT the same as the anime and vice-versa.

*waves* Hi Jynxie! ^_^

Anyways... Does it matter? It's an anime. As many people have stated, games =/= anime.

o.o
