My Articuno moveset

It can also take out common Mence leads with the correct EVs. That is very important, as MEnce is a common lead in 3rd gen.
 
Now Mence is dead! Who said Articuno is useless? Actually, it isn't the cream of the crop...oh, sorry. If you ever gat a Wii or GC, do get pokemon XD, and your access to moves will skyrocket.
 
HP water is if you prefer extra power. I myself would use water pulse, but it depends on the tase of the user.
 
Water moves aren't very helpful if you have a (sp)defensive wall like articuno boltbeaming. It wasn't meant to be an attacker, but a support pokemon and a wall.

Okay and I already taught my Blastoise Water Pulse. For HP Electric, where I can get that attack?

I don't have XD, Itachi Uchiha. Can you try other attacks, besides Heal Bell? Is Mist a good attack for Articuno?

-Reflect/Tailwind/Roost/Protect/Ice Shard. (Yes I know, two ice moves, but it's an exception due to not being able to use mixed). If you're planning on using it mixed style. Use Relaxed nature. You want always with Articuno or any mixed pokemon who's best stats is defense, a defense increasing nature of course. Agility to increase the reduced speed. Took me a while, but did it. Hp water/grass could work as well, if you don't want it to be a boltbeamer, but rather counter it's weakenesses. If so, give it Focus Sash. Edit: Never mind, forgot it was Fr/Lg. Focus Band, then.
