My banner.....

I'm still new at this, but I'm taking a class on Photoshop right now. I was wondering how does my banner look to you guys? If it looks good, I might start up a banner shop here. :rambo:

Your first attempt is actually quite nice. You did well on it. ^^
Try adding a picture to it, and it'll look even better.

Thanks for the complimates. I've had some experiance with working with pictures in banners. Heres one I made for another message boards that I'm on.

Put a nice border around it or go to Filter -->Stylize --> Embose once you make the backround to make a really nice 3-D border. Well..... It's not that nice, but it looks good.

Yeah a border will help make the banners look better, also nice for just starting out.

The one in your sig-is it animated? It looks like it is even if it isn't.

Its not animated. I just used a way of filtering (can't remember it right now) and I had another layer that was into a bunch of circles (same filter as the last one only different way). I merged them down but it didn't come out the way I thought it would. Basicly have a mix of the two, but I think it came out looking good. It does kind of give off the illusion of it being animated.

I like the first one better. Maybe, you can try working on font and bordering. You can also try animation. Rotating or something.
