I have 2 badges by defeating Flakner and Bugsy.
I just wanted a little help with my team I currently have with movesets and the types of pokemon to have I currently have:

Quilava Lv. 19- He is staying on my team for sure, I will eventually have him as a Typhlosion and I want him to have Flame wheel, Flamethrower, Thunderpunch, and ??

Hoothoot Lv.18- I am not sure if I will keep him as a permanent member but he is definately a top contender among the fliers and I more than likely want to keep him. I will evolve it to Noctowl and it will have Fly, Hypnosis, Dream Eater, and ??

Zubat Lv.16- this one is a tough one, I wanted to fully evolve it into a Crobat and have a nice poison type. The only poison type Pokemon I will have in my party really. I haven't thought of a moveset but help will be appreciated

Oddish Lv.17- I wanted a grass type in my party so I may keep him, he will evolve into Gloom soon enough and I don't know if I should wait later to have it as a Vileplume or have it become a Bellosom. I am leaning towards a Bellosom, since I never used one before. Moveset hmm...I guess I'll go with Solarbeam, Sleep powder, Mega Drain, and ??

Poliwag Lv. 17- I don't know if this should be the water pokemon to have permanently but It was the best water type to have since my other ones were Psyduck and Magikarp. I don't want to deal with a Psyduck for so long. But I am thinking of having a Lapras instead once I get surf I'll want a Lapras

Weedle Lv.18- the only reason he isn't a Beedrill yet is because I caught him at the national park as a level 18. This pokemon is temporary and I prefer Butterfree over a Beedrill anyday of the week. I am using him as filler to take on that Miltank I'll be facing soon

So overall I just need help on a decent party with great movesets, I want to keep Quilava and Oddish because I need Fire and Grass types. Typhlosion and Bellosom will be great assets but I still can't decide all 6. I mean I may want a Electric type like Magnemite, plus he's a steel type so that could help too. Please I need help thanks

    hmm...
    you should add a
    lightning type idk maybe mareep?(ampharos)
the attacks could be thunder punch fire punch thunderbolt and
    thunder?

I don't think you can catch a Mareep in Crystal, but I caught a Magnemite so he will be resourceful. So far I have 5 badges and the Pokemon I have are:

    ~Noctowl
    ~Quilava
    ~Poliwhirl
    ~Magnemite
    ~Gloom
    ~Golbat

I don't know who to keep between the 2 flying pokemon, in the past Noctowl has been a great pokemon and I love birds. Noctowl has high HP and learns psychic attacks so I was favoring him but Golbat can learn some nice moves. So far the only pokemon on my party that I am keeping are Quilava, Gloom, and Magnemite don't know about the other 3. I have a hard time between Noctowl or Golbat so which 1 overall is more useful?

    Ok your team should be
    Typholosion
    Bellosom
    Magneton
and you should add a water (suicune)
    a flying(dragonite)
and maybe a physic(espeon, or alakazam)

or maybe u should also add an ground/rock type instead of a physic

Get rid of Golbat. Poison/Flying type combinations are an absolute must avoid. They are weak to some of the most heavily used types in the game, and Golbat has a terrible move set anyways. If you manage to evolve into Crobat, than maybe you can get something good out of it, but otherwise, I'd pick something else. As for your question about Golbat or Noctowl, I'd defintily take Noctowl, since it can learn Psychic type attacks.

If you have a Water Stone, I'd definitly keep Poliwhirl around to evolve it. Poliwrath is a very useful Pokemon. It has good stats, and can learn a variety of moves, such as Water, Ice, Fighting, and Psychic type moves. Since you already have Noctowl, I'd stick to Water or Ice types, with maybe one Fighting type attack.

...and lastly, get a better Electric Pokemon. I know you said Magnemite is a permanent fixture on your team, but it being Steel-type really slows it down badly. Slow Pokemon aren't very good unless you can back them up with some good moves, which is why Slowbro makes up for it's bad speed with good power. In most type-matchups, Steel isn't really that useful. It's strength's against types like Normal or Grass really aren't that useful in the long run, and being that it is a Steel type also opens you up for a weakness against Fire-types and Fighting types.

Magneton is ok later on, but there are just too many better Electric Pokemon, in my opinion. I'd go for Raichu, or better yet, Electabuzz. Electabuzz is a challange to get, since you can only get one once you defeat the Elite 4, and move on to Kanto, so try and trade with someone, breed it, and evolve it's baby form Elekid. You'll be able to have Thunderpunch, a decent Electric attack that Magneton can't learn, and it's overall stats are much better.

These are all just suggestions, so take with them what you will.

Ok I see your point about Golbat so I will use Noctowl, since it stats are overall better. Magneton I kept it because of it's steel combination as well and it's immunity to poison types because I can't stand poison pokemon. Then As far as Poliwhirl is concerned should I evolve him to Poliwrath or Politoed? Because Poliwrath has that fighting side and makes him vulnerable to the psychics. So who's overall better Politoed or Poliwrath?

You must also take it to consideration that the 4th E4 battle is against Karen. She uses Dark types so Poliwrath can use his fighting moves to make that battle easier. Plus him being half water helps with her Houndoom.
