Ok, so I recently bought diamond, and I'm up to the seventh badge. I don't care what anyone says, I love grass types. As of now, I have these pokemon (the moves with stars I want to keep), along with moves I am thinking about keeping:

    Pelipper-Rash
    Fly-
    Roost
    Water pulse-Hydro Pump
Protect (changes to defog only when I need to)

    Roselia-Jolly (soon to be Roserade)
    Giga Drain
    Toxic*
    Magical Leaf-Petal Dance
    Ingrain

    Pikachu-Mild (soon to be Raichu)
    Thunderbolt-?
    Nasty Plot*
    Brick Break*
    Discharge-Thunder

    Gyarados-Bashful
    Surf-Thrash
    Aqua Tail
    Ice Fang-Flamethrower*
    Dragon Rage-Giga Impact

    Graveler-Naive
    Rollout
    Strentgh
    Rock Blast
    Earthquake*

    Torterra-Lax
    Return*
    Leech Seed
    Crunch-Leaf Storm/Wood Hammer
    Earthquake

Please give me some opinions and advice, even for those moves that I decided to change. (and those with stars even)

I taught Pikachu Brick Break because in case put in an uncompromising position, he can defend himself. And Gyarados, I'm teaching Flamethrower because I feel that I should have someone know a fire-type move. I don't really want to change my team. I also want someone to know another staus changing move, but it doesn't really matter to me.

There all around level 40, with Torterra at level 45

    Thanks

    Pelipper-Rash @ Leftovers
    Fly Ice Beam
    Roost
    Water pulse-Hydro Pump Surf
Protect (changes to defog only when I need to) Tail Wind

Ehh...Pelipper is just...well, weak to be honest. :\ Anyway, don't use any HM moves other than Surf or Waterfall on the pokémon you actually battle with. For the times you need them while travelling, just bring along an HM-slave (I.e. an untrained pokémon packed with a full set of HM moves) then exchange for a full battling party at a pokémon centre whenever something bigger comes along. Anyway, the Rash nature is sort of hurting Pelipper's usefulness in walling, but W/E. Surf is the way to go here, it's not as strong as Hydro Pump but makes up for it with high accuracy and PP, which suits Pelipper since it's not going to be sweeping through much anyway. Tail Wind should give a nice boost to more agressive team members, Ice Beam hurts the double weaks and Grass types, and Roost is obvious. :3

    Roselia-Jolly (soon to be Roserade)
    Giga Drain
    Toxic*
    Magical Leaf-Petal Dance
    Ingrain

    Don't bother. A Roserade with a -SAtk nature is a waste. Just re-breed for Timid, please. A possible set would be;

    Roserade @ Choice Specs
    Trait: Natural Cure
    Timid Nature (-Atk, +Spd)
    Leaf Storm
    Sludge Bomb
    Shadow Ball
    Energy Ball

Leaft Storm should only be used when you're sure to either punch through the opponent in one go or get really close (as in, leaving only a few percent of their HP left).

    Pikachu-Mild (soon to be Raichu)
    Thunderbolt
    Nasty Plot*
    Brick Break* Focus Blast/Thunder Wave
    Discharge-Thunder Grass Knot

Okay, I seriously have my doubts about how useful this thing will be, but physical attacks that aren't called Focus Punch won't really do anything on this. Grass Knot to tackle Ground types Focus Blast for filler or T-Wave for paralysis support.

    Gyarados-Bashful @ Life Orb/Leftovers
    Surf-Thrash Dragon Dance
    Aqua Tail/Waterfall/Taunt
    Ice Fang-Flamethrower*
    Dragon Rage-Giga Impact Earthquake

Why in the name of all that is sweet and sugary in this world would you need a fire move on Gyarados? -.- Gyara's SAtk is pathetic, so all special moves are immediately out of the question now that he's enjoying such a wide physical movepool. Earthquake to nail electrics, Ice Fang for the stuff that Earthquake won't hurt properly, and Dragon Dance to boost it up for sweeping. Taunt is an option over Aqua Tail, but it's only really worth it in PvPs. Waterfall if you're concerned about the accuracy. You got a really bad deal on the nature, though. Adamant is the best for this one.

    Graveler-Naive @ Leftovers/Life Orb
    Rollout Explosion
    Strentgh Stealth Rock/Rock Polish
    Rock Blast
    Earthquake*

Bad nature again. Also, Rollout is a move that should be avoided whenever possible. Losing control of your pokémon's actions (unless it has a huge payoff like Outrage) really isn't worth it, and any competent opponent will blow this out of the water before Rollout reaches any significant power. Stealth Rock to make switching all the more painful and Explosion as a goodbye present. I guess you could even try Rock Polish for that wtf factor, but meh...Rhyperior is really superior to this in every way.

    Torterra-Lax @ Leftovers
    Return* Swords Dance/Curse/Amnesia
    Leech Seed/Synthesis/Rest/Woodhammer
    Crunch
    Earthquake/Woodhammer

Something like that. Return is pointless on non-normal pokémon that have anything better in their movepool, so ditch that for a buffing move. Swords Dance provides a better offensive presence, but Curse throws in a measure of defensive power too, although - unfortunately - the Lax nature is hurting your SDef. I guess you could also try Amnesia for full defensive, but yeah...your call. Three damaging moves with SD only, as otherwise you're liable to run out of HP before you even know what hit you. Also, I'm sort of doubtful about Leech Seed as source of HP, you could try Synthesis for faster recovery or Rest with one of the defensive moves. I'd really want a damaging Grass move on this because of Overgrow, but it's kind of hard to squeeze one in.

Very weak team, I'm afraid. Graveler, Raichu, and Pelipper are going to be serious liabilities in tougher fights, but I guess this can work ingame. Then again, that holds for most things, unfortunately...-.-

Ah, thanks. Well, Raichu is one of my favorites, as well as Roserade, Vileplume, and Golem, but you've given me a lot to think about. I might just restart the game to get these specific natures (I play for keeps) but can you give me tips on some good replacement team (other than my favorites they're not goin' anywhere), along with good natures please? And can you tell me a good nature/moveset for Vileplume?

Alright, I restarted the game-it won't be long to get up to where I was, a week tops-and have decided to first restart my team with the right natures. How about these:

    Roserade:Calm

    Golem:Impish/Relaxed

    Gyarados:Jolly

    Torterra:Relaxed

    Raichu:Impish/Timid

    Pelipper:Calm/Sassy

If you can suggest any better natures, please share, before I have to reset my game again. Also, a replacement pokemon for Pelipper would be nice, as well as a nature & moveset.

    Thank You Very Much.

Look, can somebody PLEASE help me. I'm having a really hard time getting Turtwig a relaxed nature at the start of the game. I constantly restart, but it's always a nature that hurts him, or one I don't want (like bashful or lonely). How can I fix this? And can someone PLEASE help me with my above question????

    Sheez, I'm here; don't have a Miltank and don't multi-post; that's against forum rules. .___.

    Correct natures;

Gyarados - Adamant (You're already getting speed from Dragon Dance)

Golem - Impish/Adamant (Depends on whether you want to focus on the offensive or defensive aspect)

Roserade - Timid (Choice Specs are handling the SAtk)

Torterra - Impish/Careful (Really no point with -Speed natures since the sets aren't using SAtk)

Pelipper - Bold (It's primarily a physical wall)

Raichu - Timid (You already get SAtk from Nasty Plot. Also, Impish is out of the question because it reduces SAtk. Defensive natures are pointless on Raichu, anyway)

Also, for Pelipper's repalcement; there are really so many holes to patch up in this team, but I'll just say

    Milotic @ Leftovers
    Bold nature (+Def, -Atk)
    Trait: Marvel Scale
    Surf
    Ice Beam/Toxic
    Rest
    Sleep Talk

Extremely efficient waller because of its blatant Marvel Scale abuse and virtual immunity to status effects. I prefer Toxic on this to hurt bulky water types. :3

Also, I was going to say that you don't need to restart. *Sigh* Impatience won't do you any good in pokémon. The best way to get the right natures is as follows:

    1. Catch a collection of Dittos with all the natures you want.

    2. Get an Everstone

    3. For each of the pokémon you want, get the Ditto with the desired nature, make it hold an Everstone, then have it breed with a pokémon of the species you want. This way you'll have a 75% chance of the newborn getting the correct nature, which is far better and quicker than the randomized natures of wild pokémon.

Easy as one two three, but takes a bit of patience in practice. Also, anything with Flame Body or Magma Armor (Provided that it's in the lead spot of your party) will double the hatch rate of all eggs you're carrying.

Thanks, and sorry for the multi-posting, everytime I picked turtwig, he constantly had a useless nature (serious, bashful, adamant, etc). 13 times of this can get a guy frustrated. And I wanted to restart anyway, felt I needed a fresh start. By the way, who can be replaced for Rapidash? I like horses. And other than Milotic, who would be a good special wall, Mantine? Anyone would do, except for legends, please. And how can I squeeze Vileplume in here? And can someone explain EV's? I know there's a limit (522, I think, with 225 in each individual stat), but can some ev's be subracted for another? So many questions that research alone won't fix.
