My Current Team

Nah, I won't dismiss it at all, but if I can avoid using Mence, I would. I won't dismiss it, but I wouldn't like to turn for it. I mentioned Flygon cause I already trained one :P But if Flygon won't help at all...

I might use Toxic on something other than Plume.

Where are teh mods?

Well if you're looking for moar Toxic, Grumpypig can do the job, you just need to free up a slot. :x

CBLax >> Grumpig?

Snorlax@Choice Band
Adamant
252 Atk, 4 Def, 252 Sp. Def

Selfdestruct/Fire Punch
Crunch/Pursuit
Earthquake
Body Slam

Selfdestruct+Pursuit is illegal, so pick either. 100% Heatran counter, and still walls stuff hard.

Also...do we need Leafeon? What is it's role, apart from wishing?

First off, if I use Lax, I'm Deo/Mixape weak. Leafeon is my prime defense, backed up by Gya, and passes Wish, sinceI lax teh Spin@r. More importantly, he is a great scouting lead. He has told me the sets of so many pokes, like Luke, Mence, Chomp (as if it matters. Sand Veil hax FT-LOSS), etc. If anything, the weakest link in this team is Raichu, who might be replaced. Grumpig is a Godsend, and Link is a survivor. Vileplume gets his az HAXED like crazy. Seriously, how can you miss Sleep Powder 3 times? God is trying to restrain him, but it's failing.

Before I comment, jsut saying that me and Tar settled out the Zong as Tar/Zappy counter debate on shoddy. So we don't have to have another one of those boring long talks.

I would go with Gon>>Mence, since Gon isn't SR weak. Granted, Mence probly has more survivability to its higher base HP, but if SR is up, it doesn't make a difference. Also, Flygon gets STAB EQ, which Mence does not. Flygon can then revenge kill Heatran badly if Gon is scarfed.

Hey Sims, just making sure you revamp those Gyarados EVs to outrun Gengar and such after a DD.

2 grass-types hurt somewhat, but since their roles are completely different, as well as Grumpig supporting their Fire/Ice weaks, you should be alright.

With the lack of a spinner, I strongly side against the use of Salamence, being one argument over the last posts. With Scarf, you can outrun MixApe and then take it down, but as much of a shame as it is, you might be walled by Gengar ._. ...You know you're a Yoshi fan, so pop out that CBGon and smash some things with Ground/Dragon power! EQ/Stone Edge or Fire Punch/Dragon Claw/U-Turn...or you can be a noob and go with Garchomp.

Eh...sorry I'm not saying too much on the team, but this is just my 2 words for now with all of the crap I'm going through.

Good luck with the crap :(

Yeah, the two grassers can be a hinderance, but Gya supports Leaf, & Grumpig supports Plume, though Grumpig may go. I was haxed to death by a Yanmega, who both critted & Aerial Ace'd my whole team. I'm sorry FLINCHrial Ace'd my whole team.

Flygon will run Stone Edge. In fact, it's the shoddy set.

It was just bad luck that game. If you want to use something sturdy and can put the hurt on many things, as well as take on Yanmega, you can try out Metagross. It's resistant to Air Slash, and Bug Buzz is like...never a 2HKO while you punch it in the face for the KO. You could even try Light Screen for team support, and give Grumpig something else.

I dunno...just a random idea you can try.

Well, Raichu is getting replaced fo' sho. Yanmega is effin' annoying, and Grumpig has a tad bit of issues walling. Yeah, he's tough, but that Shadow Ball is annoying. Is flygon really the best choice? I was thinking of putting in something thick, that can back him up. But I phear that isn't the best choice.

I support Choice Scarf Flygon on this team. It'll revenge kill a lot of things you're weak to (SD Lucario, CB Outrage Garchomp, Tyranitar with a single DD up, etc...) Put it over something, what? I don't know, that's up to you dear chap.

I said Chu. Amazing as he is, his speed really hurts. so, after an unanimous decison, ScarfGon over Chu, who can always revenge kill Chomp. Unless it's in the sand...I freakin' hate Draco Meteor misses.

Just remember to keep us updated on the front page on what you change and such. (Yeah, I know, this comment is just a simple statement, but at least it means something.)

Oh, yes. Do you want me to post the entire team on this page to make it easier?

Nah, just update the first post with the changes made.

Ok, all done. BTW, I don't remember which Gya set I've settled on.

I'm liking the team more, you can come in on Scarf Zapdos' Tbolt and U-Turn out on it's switch. You handle it much more well with Stone Edge by the well. Well done.

How is MixPert fare on this team over Gyarados?

Blegh, Mixpert is outdated to be honest. It could still work, but CB or just plain physical Pert (with SR) would work better in my opinion.

Ok, I'll change the question. How would a semi defensive, pretty offensive Swampert fare on this team over Dos :P

Well, Pert does help your Zapdos weak, but you lose a lot of sweeping potential. It's up to you really. I would personally like Gyara over Swampert.
