I need help with my movesets/pokemon in Emerald. Any help would be appreciated.
I haven't taught my Pokemon the TMs yet, in case I need to teach it to another Pokemon that is more suited for it.

    I'll start with my team:

    Blaziken

    Blaze Kick
    Sky Uppercut
    Bulk Up/Swords Dance
    Return

    Metagross

    Meteor Mash
    Psychic
    Earthquake
(Not really sure atm, I think it will be toxic or agility)

Milotic (Grr, still have to catch feebas)
    Surf
    Ice Beam
    Recover
    Refresh

    Groudon

    Earthquake
Fireblast/Flamethrower/Solar Beam (taking advantage of drought)
    Swords Dance/Bulk Up
    Rock Slide? Maybe Ancientpower

    Kyogre

    Surf
    Ice Beam/Blizzard
    Water Spout?
    Thunder (takes advantage of Drizzle)

I'm still looking for my 6th Pokemon, maybe Salamance or Rayquaza. Please try not to say Pokemon found in Fire Red/Leaf Green, because it takes too much time to get it on my Fire Red, and I have to find another SP and another Wireless Adaptor.

    Thanks to those who help.

Nyu, please provide natures, traits, and held items where applicable. All of them affect the team. Comments and corrections can be found in bold. :3

I need help with my movesets/pokemon in Emerald. Any help would be appreciated.
I haven't taught my Pokemon the TMs yet, in case I need to teach it to another Pokemon that is more suited for it.

    I'll start with my team:

    Blaziken @ Leftovers/White Herb
    Adamant/Naughty Nature

    Blaze Kick Fire Blast/Overheat
    Sky Uppercut
    Bulk Up/Swords Dance
    Return Rock Slide

Rule of thumb: normal moves on non-normal pokémon (excluding Quick Attack, Extremespeed and in certain cases Body Slam or Double-Edge) are a waste of space. Save them for those physical sweepers who really can't pluck out anything better from their movepools. For Blaziken, it's far more crucial to nail flying types with Rock Slide, gaining a nifty flinchhax benefit on the side. Also, SD > Bulk Up since Blaziken is very weak defensively and needs to set up as fast as possible (Which the two-stage Atk increase obviously favours). White Herb if you're going with Overheat (Greater damage and hit rate), otherwise Leftovers.

    Metagross @ Leftovers
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    Meteor Mash
    Psychic Rock Slide/Explosion
    Earthquake
    Agility

If you're that much into Agiligross (Personally, I think it's overrated. :\ ). Explosion is a nice goodbye present, but Rock Slide works nice as a physical filler in case you aren't into that sort of thing. With Metagross' Atk Psychic is absolutely pointless, btw. Save that move for special sweepers, please. Here's a couple of options:

    Metagross @ Choice Band
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    Meteor Mash
    Earthquake
    Rock Slide
Explosion/Sludge Bomb/Brick Break/Shadow Ball (Ehh...just pick your favourite physical filler)

    Far greater hitting power than Agiligross, which - combined with the fact that it doesn't need setup - more than compensates for the lack of speed imo. For a more wallish one;

    Metagross @ Leftovers
    Adamant/Impish Nature
    Earthquake
    Meteor Mash
    Rest
    Sleep Talk

In this case, I think Sleep Talk is better off saved for Milotic, though. ^^

Milotic (Grr, still have to catch feebas) @ Leftovers
    Bold Nature (+Def, -Atk)
    Surf
    Ice Beam/Toxic
    Recover Rest
    Refresh Sleep Talk

Okay, I follow you on the first three moves, but why in the name of all that is sweet and sugary would you want Refresh on a pokémon that thrives on status afflictions? Milotic absolutely adores poisoning, burns, and paralysis because Marvel Scale will trigger and make it an indomitable wall. Rest/Stalk, please, I can guarantee you; this thing's a beast. It soaks up hits like no-one's business, enjoying very high defenses while it rests of damage (courtesy of Marvel Scale) and still being capable of dealing a decent amount of damage. Unlike most Milotic builds, it also has no trouble in dealing with Toxic. Speaking of Toxic, by the way, that's the prefered damaging move to accompany Ice Beam since Milo always ends up dragging battles out (giving that poison plenty of opportunities to escalate in damage). Besides, Toxic hurts special walls and bulky water types which would otherwise wall this. :3

    Groudon @ Leftovers
    Adamant nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    Earthquake
    Fireblast
    Swords Dance
    Rock Slide

Okay...ingame Groudon is just Lame with a big, red capital 'L'. I really don't get why so many people insist on using these things, I mean...you can't even use them on the frontier and for the regular battles you don't have any need for them. -.- Meh, anyway...you've got a lot of horrible misconceptions about what does and doesn't work for Groudon. Solarbeam on Groudon is a god-awful idea. Period. It doesn't get STAB, it relies on SAtk (Which is far weaker than Groudon's formidable Atk) and it doesn't get a damage boost from Drought either. The only things it hurts better than Earthquake are Swampert and Quagsire, a slight gap which one Swords Dance will close. Just say no to Solarbeam on heavy-duty physical sweepers and remember that super effective hits don't automatically mean greater damage. :\ Fire Blast gets a nifty damage bonus from Drought and will hit the few physical walls that the other moves don't get a very good hit on (In practice; Weezing and Skarmory). Also, Rock Slide > Ancientpower, always. Sacrificing 10 base power, 5 PP, and a 30% flinch rate for the measly 10% chance of a stat boost you really don't need just isn't a good bargain. Really, though, just drop this thing; ubers are cheap and Drought isn't really doing your team any favours either.

    Kyogre @ Leftovers
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    Surf
    Ice Beam/Blizzard
    Water Spout? Calm Mind/Rest
    Thunder (takes advantage of Drizzle)

Lame pokémon number two...really, just say no to ingame ubers, especially Groudon and Kyogre on the same team. This one isn't doing your other pokes any great favours either. D:

I'm still looking for my 6th Pokemon, maybe Salamance or Rayquaza. Please try not to say Pokemon found in Fire Red/Leaf Green, because it takes too much time to get it on my Fire Red, and I have to find another SP and another Wireless Adaptor.

    Thanks to those who help.

    Meh, drop Groudon and Kyogre; they're lame and not worth it for the afforementioned reason that is the Battle Frontier. There are so many pokémon (far cooler ones, mind you) which could take their place. Salamence is okay, but if you go for that then I'd suggest dropping Blaziken since they basically do the same thing (except that Mence does it better);

    Salamence @ Leftovers
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    Earthquake
    Aerial Ace/Rock Slide
    Rock Slide/Fire Blast
    Dragon Dance

Dragon Dance requires breeding, either from Altaria or Seadra if you don't want to trade in something. Optionally, there's the CB set:

    Salamence @ Choice Band
    Adamant Nature (+Atk, -SAtk)
    Earthquake
    Aerial Ace
    Rock Slide
    Fire Blast/Brick Break

Very straightforward sweeping type, but good at what it does. There's the sucky Ellymence that a certain forumite here favours too, but I won't get into that set because - quite frankly - it sucks. .__.

Now, going back to the remark about Groudon and Kyogre; I'd like to replace those two with something that makes this team a bit more dynamic. A hefty special wall and a fast special sweeper. Now, starting with the walls:

    Regice @ Leftovers
    Bold/Calm Nature
    Ice Beam
    Thunderbolt/Thunder
    Thunder Wave/Counter
    Rest

Yes, it's a legendary, but unlike Groudon, Kyogre, and Rayquaza it's not a lame uber and isn't banned from the frontier. This thing soaks up special attacks like no-one's business and between Ice Beam and Thunderbolt/Thunder (It's a matter of preference, Thunder for greater damage and paralysis rate, Thunderbolt for more consistent damage) you've got almost all types covered (only Lanturn, Magneton, and Shedinja will resist or be immune to all of your attacks). It can also take some physical hits by virtue of sheer bulk, but I really wouldn't suggest using it for that purpose. Counter handles lesser physical attackers trying to ram through, Thunder Wave is to cover for switch-ins and cripple sweepers. If FR/LG pokémon were available I'd suggest Snorlax as an alternative, but this not being the case...well, Regice is easy to find at least. :3

    Oh, one non-legendary option too;

    Miltank @ Leftovers
    Trait: Thick Fat
    Careful Nature
    Body Slam/Seismic Toss
    Curse/Thunder Wave/Shadow Ball
    Milk Drink
    Heal Bell

This one has the distinct advantage of having Heal Bell, allowing you to rid other team members of status conditions, which might prove helpful in the frontier. For the optionals, Thunder Wave and Seismic Toss are for the extreme defense version while Body Slam and Curse in combo allow for more potential damage. Shadow Ball is if you keep running into ghosties that Miltank won't be able to touch. It's not as much of a special sponge as Regice, but with Thick Fat it gets the job done. SDef and HP EVs are prefered, though. :3

    As for the sweeper:

    Alakazam @ Lum Berry
    Trait: Synchronize
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    Psychic
    Thunderpunch/Ice Punch
    Fire Punch
    Calm Mind

Very basic sweeper Zam, Psychic and a bunch of punches to bypass resistances and exploit weaknesses and Calm Mind for stallishly oriented opponents. Lum Berry provides exploitation for the Synchronize trait and helps against random Thunder Waves and such. Should work well as long as you don't let physical attackers get a hit in. Personally, I'm partial to Gengar, but again, that's an FRLG pokémon.

Another option for this one would be:

    Starmie @ Leftovers
    Trait: Natural Cure
    Timid Nature (+Spd, -Atk)
    Surf
    Thunderbolt
    Ice Beam/Reflect
    Recover

Not quite as extreme in the SAtk and Speed departments as Zam, but it compensates for it with more staying power and its ability to shrug off status effects. Surf, Thunderbolt, Ice Beam, and Recover is the dead standard set, but I just love putting Reflect on this thing. Not only will it enjoy additional staying power, it also covers more vulnerable switch-ins and acts as a general annoyance for opponents.

Ehh...hope that's enough for now. I'd suggest something for a Blaziken-free team, but I think there's plenty of stuff to take in as it is.

I was thinking of a Gengar.
I think I can manage it.

Can you suggest a decent movepool for Gengar?

    Thanks.

I was also thinking of a Hondooom, would that be a good idea?

    Nyu, Gengar, eh? Here you go;

    Gengar @ Leftovers
    Timid/Hasty Nature Nature
    Thunderbolt/Thunder
    Ice Punch
    Giga Drain/Fire Punch
    Hypnosis/Will-O-Wisp/Explosion

Hasty for Explosion only in this case. Fire Punch or Giga Drain depends on what types you have more trouble with.

    As for Houndoom...it's cool competitively, but ingame it's kind of meh, especially since this team already has some issues with taking hits. Still, if you want to give it a try;

    Houndoom @ Leftovers
    Trait: Flash Fire
    Modest Nature (+SAtk, -Atk)
    Flamethrower/Fire Blast
    Crunch
    Beat Up/Pursuit
    Will-O-Wisp

Beat Up can work for breaking substitutes and hurting special walls, provided that you have enough brawn on your team, and Pursuit is great for hurting opponents in the complicated switching games that often taken place in PvPs. WoW helps compensate for the low def and the last two moves are just for STAB damage. Really, though, the only reason I'd run Houndoom (other than, perhaps, for looks) is Pursuit, which doesn't do you much good ingame since the AI is usually too dumb to switch. I've seen it happen on the Frontier a few times, but it's not predictable enough to be properly exploited. :\

Would the Hypnosis/Dream Eater combo work on Gengar?
How do I get Beat Up?

    Thanks for your help.

Please don't even mention that filthy move. -.- Dream Eater is utterly worthless and the alleged 'combo' is one of my main peeves with movesets. It just fails majorly, so please don't even consider it for anything. As for Beat Up, that's bred in from either Sneasel or Smeargle. Basically impossible to get without FRLG trades. :\
