    I completed the pokemon league on it then I had to restart from the start I dont know why.this is on GBA by the way. Can you help me!
     
    Thats not bad, that happens after you beat the E4, then you restart to the menu, then your back to the house where you came from, its normal, you still you have your pokemon.
     
    Sleep.

    In all the pokemon games, after you beat the E4 and the champion. The credits role, then the game won't end til you turn it off. When you turn it on, it starts you off at home. It signifies the end of that journey and the beginning of a new one. Like in the anime, Ash almost always goes home after the big fight.

    Since you said Emerald, you can now get the Regi's, Rayquaza, MAYBE... let me stress the M A Y B E ! ! 1 1! See Mirage island. Go to battle frontier, catch yourself a Sudowoodo <3 Smeargles if you wanna, get the other fossil, finish up Mount Meteor. Couple other things...


    Oh yeah, if you finish up your Hoenn Dex, you get to pick one of the Johto starter pokemon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    In Emerald you could get him before the Elite Four... at least I'm about 75% sure... xD
     
    nonono you dont understand as it dosent say continue on the main menu it only has new game and options
     
    It could be possibly that your cartridge is screwed up. Does it come up with the "internal battery has died" sign before?

    Oooo,,, that is a whole nother blastit all. Sounds like the battery got fragged, or you had a magnet too closeby. So then, yeah... new game time for you. Sorry friend. Your data is gone. If it truly doesn't say continue... ouch.. I feel ya though. My versions of Crystal and Silver both lost memory, oddly Blue Red and Yellow are still fine, as well as gold. Heh.
     
    Yeah my Silver and Crystal both lost data, but I replaced the battery.But yeah if it says you have to start a new game the battery inside is DEAD.
