    Yesterday, I went to my first ever hockey match. Course it was a Western Hockey League one. The match was the Everett Silvertips vs the Victoria Royals. Course the Victoria I am talking about is the one in Canada. Even though there were no fights, my favorite part of the match was seeing players slam each other into the boards. Unfortunately, the Silvertips lost. Other than that, the match was good.
     
    While I haven't watched as much of the WHL this year as I have in the past, Everett's always struck me as one of the teams that never seem to get into fights. The only time I see it is when they face the Seattle Thunderbirds, which are greats games to watch regardless of the fights, since they're the Silvertips' biggest rival.
