    Scyther (i know no scizor, but to be immune 2 ground, and not 2x weak to fire)

    um... we don't even get any EV or nature...? Remember to post EVs and Nature next time.

    Scyther- I tried reversal before, and it doesn't work with Scizor who got a lot more attack power... Scyther's chance of succeeding will be even worst.

    Jolteon- ... shouldn't it be basic facts that you pack HP grass or ice just in case?

    Gengar- if you want Gengar as perishtrapper, go hypnosis. But then Gengar's low defenses really contradicts the idea of a perishtrapper. You need to use mean look 1 turn, hypnosis 2nd (provided that there's no chesto or lum too, and you can possibly miss), and then perish song too... and after that, you gotta last one more turn... (one of the turn becomes protect of course). I personally don't like it, but some says that it works wonders, especially against blissey and tankers (then again, all perishtrappers are good against tankers?)

    Blissey- light screen...? nuts? counter or seismic toss over light screen. Go check the old battledex... first entry there

    Vaporeon- standard

    Rhydon- standard again


    Problem: lack of linoone counters, no way to rid berry abusers too (no quick attack). Very weak to Snorlax (especially sublax) too, which is problematic.

    for scyther, teach it slash or wing attack; rhydon, teach it rock slide to have full advantage over its high attack power; vaporeon is good; blissey is okay, but usually i'd have it learn fire blast, thunder,blizzard, andshadow ball; gengar, teach it night shade and perhaps shadow ball; and jolteon is good except for attract, teachit iron tail instead so it can beat onix and other rock types

    Scyther: At least Endure over Sub. You will die anyway... I know it. I already used this Moveset...

    Jolteon: Attract is for...? Maybe Hidden Power ike Frosty said.

    Gengar: Hypnosis I guess...

    Blissey: Ice Beam, Counter, Self Boiled, Armotherapy is the Standard. USE IT.

    Vaporeon: Acid Armor over Ice Beam.

    Rhydon: Choice Band as Item and HP Ghost over Double-Edge. Keep Rock Slide.

    P.S. Kirby00, how much teams do you have...?

    dotn spam, dont insult, dont post worthless info. i keep making enw 1s b/c i keep getting **** for the old ones. demonion, i hereby ban you from all my threads, you are not welcome, unless ofcourse u have something worth saying, and dont say what you jsut said is worth saying b/c it isnt. dont make excuses for yourself, jsut dont do it again, maybe say your sorry, and I wont be like this. im sick of being insulted by you and every1 else, if u feel that way then dont tell me b/c its pointless and I wont listen next time. unless your next post is different than usual im not gonna read it so dont waste my time...
    Didnt do evs/nature b/c i dont want to waste my time typing, and b/c u guys can simply tell me esp, if the moveset changes. otherwise if i post nature/evs, you guys might change the movesets, therefor suggesting evs/nature change. i want natures and evs given as final result after movesets are completed. that way the moveset is gauranteed to go well with nature... if u dont understand still why i didnt post them, then ask again so i can explain, otherwise it should be pretty obvious...
    for blissey i wasnt thinking counter b/c altho its standard, its too low def, and could get 1 hit koed esp from double edgers, or earthquakers. and honestly if blissey happens to go first coutnering would make you go second, so rather have seismic toss. especially even moresor with brick break being so common, even without stab 150 damage base is just to risky unless u use focus band and happen to surive is counter necessary... but then again blissey is still new to me...

    I see...you are just to lazy to tell us the evs and natures, and don't say that this is a insult because you are saying it yourself

    Yeah sure, an +Def nature + 252 EVs in Def let it survive most physical attacks with it 700+ HP thats why some people put counter on it. i don't understand what you are talking about in the last sentences though :S

    In summary, he doesn't know much about Blissey (even he admits it himself in his posts), which is an indirect way of saying that "I'm an ingamer."

    Now Kirby... why don't you seriously try netbattle, and have a true taste at just what is competitive battling...?

    for rydon i was thinking rockslide for sure and not swords dance...
     
    It's not that people are being mean, it's people are trying to make you better. There's a lot of room for improvement, but I see you have a firm grasp of the basics (but only the basics). Being relegated to in-game training does that to you, I should know, I never really got into competitive battling until the last few months. But, I've improved, and learned from my mistakes, and what we're trying to do it prevent you from learning the hard way as well.

    Kirby, I challenge you to an FRLG Netbattle battle for all the marbles. That is, being banned from this forum (I refer to the strats forum). Oh, and yeah reputation, pride and all that other stuff too.

    cuz that moveset is killed easily by any and all steel types and anything with the name gengar

    And I guess that you mean Fully advanced excluding Emerald? I don't think NB got a mode up for just FRLG without RS influence...

    Mana, he wont accept a challenge, he knows hes not going to win... Meanwhile, my NB is messed up... Might have to erase my PC if I want it to work because I tried deleting and redownloading and it still doesn't work.
     
    STOP GETTING OFFTOPIC... anyways i dont want 2 netbattle b/c i feel to old to do so, 816 yrs old* but i do like to think of startegies, its fun. if i was worried bout net battling i would ask you guys for advice w/o question but with your insults, i just do so inorder to see how good i am. dont need anymore comments b/c im not listening and they dont matter to me if theyre rude. its pointless to comment about me anymore negatively. plz stay on topic, and stay nice or dont post to/about me anymore and post somewhere else. how many times have i patiently said this... anyways
    i think blissey has a good moveset w/ ur help, so im worried scyther needs a little mor help.

    Better question to ask is:

    How can Pokemon exist as a game without netbattle? How can netbattle exist without Pokemon?

    Pokemon = Netbattle (for the game, that is... there's still the manga, the anime, the cards and so on)

    Pokemon "real life" battling could not possibly advance in its movesets and knowledge if it isn't for netbattle (then everyone will have messed up movesets, similar to *some* of the ones you made). The real battle requires another player who lives in your area, and that along is bad for those who don't live in the big cities. You can hardly find another player that's within your rank in real life (as seeing how netbattle can be pretty noob-invested sometimes too.) The real battle got some super lengthy graphics, *especially* leftovers. Imagine those mega stall wars on netbattle that can last for 1 hour, and how long they will be if we stop to see those leftover animation every time...

    And also, no one can ever be too old for anything, including Barney the purple dinosaur for a 16+, or classical music for the 12 year olds. How can a number possibly prevent you from liking something? How foolish... "too young/old" for something is probably one of the weakest arguements on earth (the other ones include "it's a guy/girl thing only" and etc.)

    Kirby, if you're 16, then safe to assume that you're in high school? Ok, so that means you must have taken history/social studies too then. Alright, let's try to argue your way like a history paper will, being civilized beings.

    Now, what's happening is like this:

    PC: I've bad news to tell you. Your team is going to die. Your movesets suck, but forunately we've discovered it early, and perhaps we can fix it up for you. Do everything we say if you want to have a chance to win.

    Kirby: ...

    PC: ... well?

    Kirby: You're MEAN! I'm going to go to another forum!


    Now, let's slightly chance the wordings, and imagine this scenario, if it makes any sense to you.

    Doctor: I've bad news to tell you. You're going to die. You got cancer, but fortunately we've discovered it at its early stages, and perhaps we can save you. Do everything we say if you want to live.

    Kirby: ....

    Doctor: ... well?

    Kirby: You're MEAN! I'm going to go see another doctor!


    Notice how foolish you're really being, by looking at this in another angle...?
