not bad... but it looks like you cut of the edge of (his) left hand... there's no outline!
again, the stretching makes him look blocky... maybe you shold display both, the original, and the stretched one... i cant figure out what your original lines were...

...ok... disregard most of everything i just said... im sitting far away from the monitor, and he just looked really big cause my computer was in widescreen...i can see him fine now. he actually looks very good, EXCEPT, his hand is cut off, and his shirt's stripping is still very rigid (thats a really bad oxymoron, since stripes are supposed to be rigid...) really it's just the stripe in the front that is rigid, the sleeves are good.

...ok...again disregard what i just said! yikes three edits in a row... i see now he has a zipper hoodie... it makes sense!!! wow!!! im not stupid!!! really, great job on the shading, coloring, and body positioning!

(Keep Spriting!>

When resizing make sure to go to Sketch/Skew in the Paint toolbar, enlarge by implements of 100. Besides that note, there's nothing special to comment on.

yay i finally finished it!

Nice job ~Element! I do have a few things to say though...his head looks a little mooshed to me(that might just be me though), and some parts of his body look blocky(due to resizing for the game), I recommend when you post them on here, post the 64x64 versions, that way we can see and judge them better ^^...Your doing a fantastic job though, keep it up!

Don't zoom in on your sprites. It makes them look incredibly pixel-y and not very professional.

I'm sorry, but I will have to disagree with you on this one. If you used Sketch/Skew instead of just resizing it by hand the trainer would look much better. Double sized sprites are a way to look at the sprite at a higher magnification, allowing better crit. But usually they are posted in coordination with a normal sized sprite.

In short, if you use sketch skew, you can blow it up (How large you blow it up is your choice) but you may want to post a normal sized sprite as well as a regular sized sprite.

As for the sprites themselves, they're good (With the exception of the trainer sprite that was ruined by the resizing). I really can't tell whether they're fusions or recolors, mainly because of the fact that I haven't seen an overworld in ages, but I guess that would be good. Ehmeh. I may update this later with far better crit.

THE BAD: It looks pixellated, unfortunately :/ Shadings can definitely be improved on. Did you stretch them/Increase their size?
THE GOOD: Effort put in is shown. Already considered good for your first ever sprites. Continue working hard and you'll definitely improve XD. Good luck!
