    Its kinda weird, but its my first SHADED one, so obviously its not gonna be PERFECT
     
    I think this is a really good pic for a first one, Latios! :D It was a good idea to use the sprite as reference ^_^ That way you're sure to get the shading right! :D The only thing I would suggest is to make the lines a little smoother and rounder by using the Curve tool (it takes a little time to get used to, but is definitely worth it once you get the hang of it!) :D

    I did use the curve tool.
    but on some parts i didnt

    Heh, the curve tool is key for me, i'm guessin you used it on the mouth? Anyway really good job for your first try.
     
    It looks real good for a first time. Ive sketched a lot in my time (i mean like in '99 etc...) I think im a look for em and post em. Good job though.
