My FIRST Sprite Comic...

For your first sprite comic, that was pretty good. 7/10.
Try not to make the speech bubbles so thick..if you're using the paintbrush tool, set it to the smallest brush size.
 
You're welcome. BTW, if you still have trouble, put in an opaque speech box and line it with the square tool or the line tool (use the thinnest setting.), then use the line tool to draw a line from the bubble to the sprite saying the thing.
 
hey sykora that aint very nice u cud have a few good comics in there.
Kasanai why dont u use sun ce in one of them? i really liked this 8.5/10
 
Well I'll just ignore that cuz I can't understand a thing so...
well make a better BG because that is just a line. And fix the Blaziken, it looks messed up.
 
It's good, but I couldn't tell who needed the Pepto Bismal.
 
I liked it. You could use the line tool for speech bubbles and try to use no default colors and sort of get a background in there. Better than what I could do. I'm only used to overworld... I think you should make more.
 
All I can say is that it's a lot better than what I put in here...you can look for it if you want. This was a little random to me, but isn't all that bad. Nice start.
 
Uh, this needs some work... First of all, try a background, it looks like they're floating around now. :\ The Blaziken looks messy too. Making the letters a bit smaller would be good... If you work on it, it could be good one day.
 
thanks for the enlighting enthusiasim guys... you couldve held back on telling me my FIRST work was horrible! what do need to be to make you happy? a super-special-learner person whjo does EVERYTHING perfect on my FIRST try!?

thanks to the people who actually noticed that it was my first comic, who didnt tell me what was wrong with it, and decided to give me help in a nice way.

Exactly what vaati said. We're not just posting that to annoy you. Do you expect everyone here to reply "ZOMG GREAT 1000000/10"? If you post your work here, you have to be able to take criticism...

If you can't except critism, stop making comics, you arent going to get a zomg 99/100 on the first day. We aren't going to stop calling them crap until you get the point.

You used default paint colors for the background. Try using game backgrounds. Make wordbubbles with the autoshapes tool on the bottom of the paint toolbar. Develop a script, don't just make stuff up as you go along. Run it through MS word as well. And one more thing, don't use pokemon sprites. They're good for an rpg, but in a sprite comic, more poses are needed.

Even if it's your first, you need to settle for a non-bias oppinion, because those are the only ones that really help.

Also: Pepto Bismal is for your stomach.

YIKES!!! You need alot of work.

1) Backgrounds - You should always have some sort of background in you comic. It gives it a nicer look.
2) Dialogue Boxes - For thise you should pick a shape and stick with it. Just an oval or a rectangle should be fine.
3) Sprites - Well premade sprites are always good to use, but if you do recolor them, try to use colors that blend in more. DO NOT use the preset colors in MSPAINT!
4) Frames - All frames should be the same exact size, and action from one frame shouldn't go into another frame.
5) Text - To me the text size was a little big, but that is just my opiniong. You may want to bring it down to a 10 or 12.

PS - Don't say this was bad because this was your first try. Go check out my comic (Mario & Luigi: The XD Saga) That is my first comic, and I worked really hard on it. Look at other comics, and study thier traits and icorporate them into yours.
