My advice would be to add boarders to your work, download some more fonts and render a few more images. You need to add some effects to the render and blend it into the BG.

    KIU.

Pretty damn good for a beginner :D
I can't even so much draw a circle in gimp, never mind a whole picture. You should try to get a different Latias picture, maybe add a filter.

I won't comment them individually as they are all pretty much the same.

They are decent for a beginner.
You need to start to expand with different images, fonts, colours, styles, borders,

Start looking at more advanced tutorials and perfect them. I can see you becoming good at this =]

My advice would be to add boarders to your work...
No, don't listen to this advice. Boarders usually kill the tag in most people's opinions.

All of your tags are really redundant, and bleh. Of course you are a beginner, so keep reading tuts, keep listening to people's advice, and try to imitate (to an extent) people's work whom you admire.

Download c4ds and use them for effects and flow and shiny sparkly things. <3 Those are the key to most of my banners. Play around with layer modes on those c4ds; show us what you got. :3

wow! preety good pics youve made. but its latias over and over. u like it very much?
    well, try using more pokemon!

    there all pretty good!
    well the backgrounds anyway.
you have awesome backgrounds its just you could use some different pics
and some different fonts. like for example use some graffiti font in your name.
and if graffiti doesn't work then find another one that works for you.
and i say graffiti cause its one of the styles i do.
but its comin' along good! keep it up!

I don't know much about GIMP, but if it has layer effects I think that adding more textures over the main background would add a lot to the banners. By textures, I mean these things, and it's surprising how much they can liven up banners.

Your banners are good for a beginner, definitely, I'm just trying to throw some ideas out there~.

As some have said before, the font is too plain. However, they are nice for a beginner.
I would suggest trying to liven it up by adding some color levels, curves, contrast, gradient map, and effects as well.
Other than that, you did pretty well for a beginner. Keep up the good work, and in no time you'll do even better.

Mmm. They're pretty good for a beginner.
You should focus on not making the main background with brushes.
Also, work on blending the renders in and you need more of a variety of images.
Other than that, they are pretty good.
