My games no longer save!!

My Red and Silver carts wont save no more prob cuz of some gameshark code or sumthing...is there anyway to make it save again or get an old save back?

how many hours do you have on your games

they dont save...they erase after i turn the game off

if you have 999:99 hours on it, it wont save cause the time wont go any higher

I had this same problem with Sapphire. My save was deleted and it didn`t save anymore. I don`t know why, I played only 3 hours =/

i think its just a glitchy cartridge, have you damaged it in any way?

Yea it pretty much has to be a glitch...unless you groped it and somhow u only damaged that specific part of the game...which would seam very unlikely...but u also said u used a gameshark...that prob it....but cant you start a new game...you should be able to do that and then save it

A cartridge game will no longer save when its battery has run out. The batteries are likely dead. You could probably replace them. They're probably just standard CPU batteries.

Edit: GBC Pok?mon games only have a time counter that goes up to 255 hours (FF in hex).
