here is my very first deck and i hope to get some professional oppinions from you senior guys who are more efficient at building up a deck.

pls indicate the weakness and the point to be improved! your help is a big boost to me.

    Deck list:

    2 gengar LM
    2 haunter LM
    3 gastly LM
    2 gorebyss LM
    1 huntail LM
    3 Clamperl LM
    1 roselia LM
    1 stantler UF
    1 misdreavus LM
    1 solrock DS
    1 clefable UF
    1 clefairy UF

    Trainer:

    1 Marys request
    2 master ball
    1 greatball
    3 switch
    2 field worker
    1 energy search
    1 p.reversal
    1 duall ball
    1 wallys training
    1 super scoop up
    2 energy removal2
    1 prof. elms training
    1 power tree]
    1 rare candy
    1 root fossil
    1 claw fossil
    energy:

    2 react energy
    11 psychic
    7 water

my strategy is very simple- taking out gengar as fast as possible and defeat opponent.

No combo, no speed, too much lines, this is a very bad deck!! You must almost modify all the deck, man!

What for you put solrock without lunatone?

Try on Dark gyrados to combo with gengar and put 4 cursed powder. This means when your opponent beat gangar or dark gyrados with cursed powder attached to it, you can put 6 damage counters on active or 3 to active and 3 to 1 of your opponent pokemon.

Do i need to replace blue with another colour? besides, dark gyarados in banned already, right? ihope to hear more ideas about improving my deck.

ps: i will compose another topic to discuss the strategy to defeat my fren's decjk!

This is not Magic, so don't say colors, say types, or energies (which are different but... in overall... are the same...)...

Also, it depends where you live and if the deck is for leagues playing...

Try to make a deck with a type only but having multiple weaknesses (coughdeltaspeciescough). Don't forget the Colorless Pokémon which usually have pretty nice attacks and Powers/Bodies cool for the deck...

PS: Gengar is not LM is FRLG.

To QFred: i think you might have mistaken something, actualy there is really a gengar in LM expansion(:-).

actually im thinking of building a psy deck based on react energy exploits. for example: adding delcatty to partner along gengar and shiftry from LM. of course i could add darkness energy to promote shiftry's attack power. then the whole deck will be transformed into 1 psychic solo-type deck by removing all water energies and water type pokemon which will allow me soime room for putting in more trainer card for drawing efficiency .

How about this plan? Anything wrong or inappropriate here?

why do you have claw and root fossil in here if you dont run any lileep or anorith?
also i agree with typhlosion that you shouldent run solrock without lunatone.
also dump wally training and get another professor elms training method (wally forces you to have who you want to evolve as the active pokemon.)

WHY??? Every T2 deck use lunatone & solrock together. Any of them is useless without the other.
