3rd Gen My Golbat!?

    Hey i have a question, i was playing my FR last night and i got my Golbat to lv. 28 after beating Giovanni in the Game corner, and it started to evolve to crobat it went: "What...Golbat is evolving!" then it just went "...........?" and it stopped, he wasnt equipped with an everstone and my hand was no where near the A or B button...can someone explain? ^_^;;;
     
    It won't evolve until you have the National Dex. Beat the Elite 4, then catch 60 Pokemon in your PokeDex, then go to see Prof. Oak. He'll give you the National Dex. When your Golbat gets happy again, level it up and it'll evolve. ^_^
     
    well, you see, golbat evolves into crobat, which is a G/S/C pokemon, and you cant obtain G/S/C/R/S pokemon until you beat the elite 4, so that why.
     
    XD You got jipped!

    It might be because it was evolving into a Crobat, and since that's a new Pokemon, it didn't evolve. The thing is it can evolve, and I bet it might have if you're Pokemon were on the Hall Of Fame, since that's when you can trade with Ruby/Sapphire.

    blah i had a feeling that was the case XD just need some professional advice...and not that psychiatrist agian XD well that Golbat gave me a heart attack when it stopped XD thanks for the info guys!
     
    what does mystery gift have to do with evolving a golbat??
     
    does mystery gift work on getting the arura ticket with out having to go to any pokemon event or store
     
    Main question answered.

    You HAVE to go to an event or store to get the Ticket.

    Mystery Gift is for getting special items like the Aurora Ticket and the Mystic Ticket (which hasn't been released yet).
