I just decided to add this here as well. So Enjoy the first 5 parts.
My Life as a Pichu Pt. 1: A Journey's Prequel
It all started out like a normal day: went to school, came home, played on my computer, etc. But yea, keeping things short and sweet here because I know a lot of you don't like long intros. So I won't bore you with details. Let's just say it happened in my sleep. A voice spoke to me, kind of in a playful young girl tone. It said "You just might be the one… but I'm not sure." I replied "Ok? What the heck are you talking about?" (Yea, I never purposely cuss.) "Hehehe, I will see if you are or not." It said. And for the rest of the night, I slept soundly, but I was in for a shock when I woke up the next morning. When I did finally wake up, I immediately noticed something's were different.
First off, I was on the ground, second, I was outside. I tried getting up, but I saw my "hands" were covered in light yellow fur. This startled me causing me to land back on the ground with a thud. "Ouch!" I exclaimed. I finally got to my feet after a few minutes. I noticed that I had a small green jacket on. Or what would normally be small. I also checked out my ears, they were the same color as a Victini's outside ear, same goes for the spike pattern on my chest and the color of my tail. I also noticed that the end of my left ear was like a multiplication sign. I finally figured out that I was a Pichu. This of course didn't make any sense to me. Didn't things like this only happen in Pokémon Mystery Dungeon? I tried to figure this out, but it wasn't doing anything but giving me a headache.
The only thing I decided I could do was try and get out of this forest. So I started walking along a roughly cut path while humming the Lavender Town Theme, the Giygas Rap, and other songs I knew. At one time, I was singing Speak with Your Heart. But my aimless wondering got me nowhere. So I chose to sit down and rest. I rested a few moments before hearing rustling in the bushes. I got into a Flight or Fight stance, of course, I would choose Flight do to me not knowing any moves. Out of the bushes came a Victini and a Pikachu. I was able to tell that the Pikachu was a female, do to her tail's heart-ish shape. And I knew Victini's didn't have genders. "Hmm… What's a Pichu doing all the way in this forest?" The Victini asked. "Maybe we should ask if it needs help." The Pikachu suggested. "So you want to help me?" I asked hopefully. I was willing to go with the two Pokémon, because going with them kinda seemed better than the alternative. "Sure, just try to stay out of danger." The Victini said. And just for you info, I will call the Victini a male do to its voice sounding like one.
I followed behind the Pikachu who was following behind the Victini. And we finally reached the end, which seemed to take an eternity. Then some odd force teleported the duo and me to a place that resembled a base. When we got there, the Victini asked me "What is your name." "Trak" I replied with some thought, there was no way I was going to tell anyone my real name. "That's an odd name." The Pikachu said. "You can call me Blazer" The Victini said. "My name is Thunda." The Pikachu said. "So how did you end up in Deep Forest? I have never seen a single Pichu, Pikachu, or Raichu there." Blazer asked me. "All I know is that I woke up there. That's all." Is what I told him. "And you might find me crazy, but I was a human before this." I quickly added. "Well this wouldn't be the first time, but it is certainly rare." Blazer replied to my comment. "Hey Trak, do you want to join out rescue team?" Thunda asked me. "Sure, I have nothing better to do." I replied. "Finally, a use for that third room." Blazer said relived.
That night the voice returned. "Hello! Do you like the test so far?" The Girl voice asked. "Sure… I love being transformed into something without any knowledge of how to use attacks." I said sarcastically. "Just think of it as a game." It said before leaving. "Sure… a game of life and death." I muttered.
My Life as a Pichu Pt. 2: Regretful Pichu Training
I awoke the next morning to find Blazer absent from the base. But I did find Thunda there. "Good morning Trak." The Pikachu said cheerfully. "Morning, ugg… I didn't get very good sleep." I said groggily. "Maybe a good breakfast will cheer you up." She offered. "Alright, I could go for some food." So we ate Oran Berries that she cooked using her electricity. Now that I got a better look at her, she was wearing a Light-Blue scarf and a blue wristband. "Well I am going to start teaching you how to be a Pichu." Thunda said. "What? All you need to do is just teach me how to attack and dodge effectively." I complained. "It's odd hearing a Pichu talk normally." Thunda said. "Well it's also odd to be looking up at almost everything." I replied. "Touché." She replied. "So meet me outside." She told me. "I don't get a say in this, do I?" I said half expecting the answer. "Nope." She said as expected.
Outside, she said something I wasn't expecting. "Sense you wanted to learn how to fight. Then we will do that first." So started the battle training, and trust me, that was a lot more pain that training. I was constantly getting electrocuted by her. And on top of that, I couldn't even land a hit on her. By the end, I was fried so bad, that I could smell myself burning. And not to sound odd, but I smelled good. Kind of like KFC, but I was only awake long enough to take another step, and then I passed out.
I woke up 5 minutes later, with Thunda standing over me. "Well you recover fast." She said. "Oww… you did a number on me." I said in pain. "Well now we move on to the next part of you Pichu Training." Now here's the part where you would place a montage of she trying to teach me how to be a Pichu, I don't do it or purposely screw up, and I get shocked. That went on for a couple of hours. She had made no progress on changing my instincts to that of a Pichu's, and Blazer was returning. As with Thunda, I got a better look at Blazer. He was wearing two red wristbands and a headband on his Left Ear. "How did training go?" He immediately asked. I started crawling out of the base. "What happened!? Thunda was supposed to give you combat training." Blazer asked startled. He obviously was not expecting Thunda to try and make me 100% Pichu. "Thunda went overboard." I replied with a hoarse voice. At that time Thunda came outside and saw Blazer. A nervous grin crept across her face. "Uhh… hi Blazer…" Thunda Stuttered. "Tsk tsk… I ask you do combat training, and this is what happens?" Blazer was very ticked. "I was just trying to make him whole Pichu." She tried to explain. But it didn't help. "We don't need a whole Pichu; we need a fighter or a defender. Hmph, I'll train him tomorrow." Blazer said angered. I crawled to my bed and fell into a deep sleep.
"He he he. Isn't this fun?" The playful voice asked. I sighed. "No, that was torture!" "Well tomorrow will be fun, or at least we can hope." The Voice said before disappearing. "Great." And all thoughts faded till I woke up the next morning.
My Life as a Pichu Pt. 3: Enter the Villain
I awoke in the morning still in pain and not able to walk very much. I was able to reach the main room. I was immediately met by Blazer. Who obviously did not like the shape that Thunda put me in. "So how you feeling Trak?" He asked me. "I'm in the most pain I have ever been in." I replied. "Well okay. We'll train tonight. I am bringing you on a mission with me. So get some rest. You'll need to be in the best shape you can be." He said. "Alright." I replied. "Go get some breakfast. It's on the table." Blazer directed me. I did as he asked of me. In the room with the food I found Thunda in there. She looked sad. "I'm sorry for yesterday, I went overboard." She apologized "It's alright. We all make mistakes." I reassured her. "Thanks for forgiving me. Now eat your breakfast." She told me. Today we ate Rawst Berries. They were pretty good. After breakfast, I went back to sleep. But little did I know outside was something that would cause me trouble the entire time I was a Pichu. It was Villain11, my evil counterpart. He and a group of Ekans were watching me. "Heh heh heh. So my good side has finally made it here. Now I can kill him. Come on my slaves, to Dark Forest!" And my dark side left to Dark Forest. I woke up around midnight. I was a lot better than I was in the morning, but I was still banged up a little. I looked out the window to see a flickering flame. I knew that Blazer was waiting for me. I went outside to meet Blazer. "Good, you're up." He said. "What's the mission?" I immediately asked. "So you like to get to business fast then? Okay, a Zubat's friend got lost in Dark Forest, so we have to find his friend and rescue her. She's a Pidgey." Blazer Informed me. "So in short, we have to rescue a lost Pidgey." I summarized. "Yep, she should be on F9. Let's get going." Blazer Said. We reached Dark Forest in no time at all. And Blazer started to show me how to fight. After about 15 minutes, I could do some basic fighting things. But I wasn't ready to fight tough Pokémon yet. Luckily, we encountered about 40 Caterpie. That got me some good training. Then we ran into the thing that gave me a scare to last me a lifetime. It was a Luxray. I was paralyzed by fear when I saw it. For two reasons; Reason 1 is because of my perspective. That thing was huge compared to me. And of course I would get scared of creatures that are gigantic compared to me. Reason 2 was because it was more than likely a seasoned fighter and could finish me off in one blow. Blazer though was a pro at fighting and made quick work of it. "Th-thanks." I managed to stutter. "C'mon, let's get going." He told me. The fear I felt was the kind when you about to get attack by a Grizzly Bear, or a Lion, or a Tiger, or anything that would attack you. What I was feeling was indeed human fear. We pressed forward, Blazer defeating anyone that I was unable to. We finally reached F9, and there was the Pigey, but it was being strangled by an Ekans. And there were 3 more Ekans, and a Pichu with an Arrow head like shape on his right ear. He also had a Black jacket with in red lettering "V11". It was Villain11. "Hello good me." He said in a sinister tone. "It's you…" I said in a dark tone. "Alright, we'll make this quick, you let me kill you, and the Pidgey lives." He offered. Of course, he wasn't smart enough to anticipate what was to happen next. Blazer struck down the 4 Ekans and rescued the Pidgey. "What!? Grrr…" V11 pulled out a knife and charged at me. But with the training I had just been put through, I was able to backflip over him. "How could that happen!?" Villain exclaimed dumbly. I decided to kick him in back into the river that was next to us. I knew he had the same weaknesses as me because he was me, which meant he could not swim. So I watched as the river's current sent him off south. "Ahh! Curse you my good self! I this isn't the end! I will kill you!" And with that, he was out of sight, and for now, out of mind. "That was completely random." Blazer stated. "Yea, totally random Blazer." I agreed with a chuckle. So we completed the mission, got our pay, and returned to base for some well-deserved sleep.
"That was a good job you did!" The young voice said cheerfully. In my dream, I could make out a pink form, but it was fuzzy. "Well do you mind telling me why I'm here in the first place?" I asked. "Soon I will. When I'm sure that you are the one." It said. The rest of the night was peaceful.
My Life as a Pichu Pt. 4: Dancing Munna & Singing Pichu
I awoke the next morning, with a note beside some Oran Berries. It read "Dear Trak: Thunda and I are on a mission. Feel free to take a break today. From, Blazer." I sighed. Finally, a break! I ate the Oran Berries they left for me. I looked outside and saw a Shiny Munna. It looked lost, but I wasn't sure. I decided to follow this Munna, to see if it was lost or not. I followed it for about a half hour. It was lost, and it noticed me for the first time. Which I was startled it didn't know sooner. "Who's there, who's there, who's there!?" Said the shiny Munna. "Uh… I'm right here." I said dumbfounded. "I'm scared… Who are you!?" It said. "I'm Trak, and I noticed you are lost. I'm a part of a rescue team." I replied. "What does a rescue team do?" It asked. "Well, we rescue other Pokémon." I said "What Pokémon is a part of it?" It asked. "Well in the team I'm in, Team Electric Burn, It's me, Blazer the Victini, and Thunda the Pikachu." I told her. "And you have neglected to tell me your name." I pointed out. "Tiara, it's so pretty. Like my tiara on my head?" She answered and asked. "Sure… now are you lost or not?" I asked. "Take me to your place." She demanded. "You still haven't answered my questions." I said getting annoyed. "Take me to your home and I will" She requested me. "Or I could leave you here." I countered offered. "Feed me and I will! Feed me and I will! Feed me and I will! I'm only 2 though." She said in a sad voice. "Fine, here's a Big Apple." I said giving her the apple. And she ate it in 2 seconds. Okay… weird: 2 seconds, age 2, now what? Oh well… "I'm lost; I'm trying to find my way to my dancing family. We were on our way to a place, and I got distracted by the biggest berry I've ever seen." She told me. "Where?" I asked. "I don't know…" She said. "Fine I'll take you back to my place until Blazer and Thunda come back." I told her. "Okay!" She exclaimed. So I took her back to the Base, where Thunda and Blazer were already back! "Hey Trak, we are looking for a lost Munna, could tell us if you've seen one." Thunda asked me. "Was it shiny, with a tiara?" I asked. "Exactly, wait, how did you know?" Blazer asked. "Look behind me." I told them. And they saw the Munna. "Where did you find it?" Thunda asked. "It was walking past our base." I replied. They face palmed themselves. "Am I invisible?" The Munna asked. "No you're not Tiara." Blazer Said. "Oh! And there was a Pink Pichu with the Munna Family!" Thunda blurted out. "Hmm… that's odd." I said. So we headed to the place where they were at, and returned the Munna. We also saw that Pink Pichu. "Heeeeyyy!" She exclaimed. She was wearing dress like clothing and had a Headband on her right ear. And both the dress and Headband had a crystal mark on it. "Umm…" I started to say. "My name's Crystal, I'm like the best girl ever." She said. I started to hug her. "Sis, I've missed you!" I exclaimed. "Whoa, whoa, whoa homey." She said. "You know this girl?" Thunda asked. "Yea, she's my sister. And like me, she doesn't like other people knowing her real name." I said. "Do not know you, do not want to." She said. I frowned at this. "Okay, Blazer, she's sleeping in my room. Knock her out now." And Blazer did before she could say another word. That night, I saw the figure again. It was still blurred, but I could make out its shape. It was a Mew. "He, he, he, Wasn't this fun?" It asked in its young voice. "So you show yourself at last." I said. "Yep! This was fun! Let's play more! I wonder-" I was suddenly awoken by Blazer. "Trak, it's an emergency! One of the towns we live near is on fire!" Blazer Exclaimed. "It's what!?" I said startled. We quickly awoke Thunda and headed to the burning town.
My Life as a Pichu Pt. 5: The Reason…
We ran to the burning town. We ran as fast as we could. The fire was no ordinary fire either, it was a fire started by intense vibrations, the kind a powerful psychic could produce. We ran through the town looking for the one that started the fire. And sure enough we found it.; of course, we regretted that we found it. It was floating above us, it was a Mewtwo. I gulped at the site. "And who are these weak fools?" It said in a booming male voice. "Are you the one who set fire to town?" Blazer demanded to know. "Hmph, you should learn you place." He retorted. He attempted to use a Psychic attack on Blazer, but do to his dual Fire/Psychic Type, it didn't do much. But it still looked like it hurt. Seeing that didn't work, he attacked both Blazer and Thunda with a Shadow Ball. It was able to knock them both out. He was charging one to fire at me, but I dodged quick enough, but it was too close for comfort. "It's not here, so I'm wasting my time. I will deal with you later." He said. And he flew off. I dragged Blazer and Thunda back to the base. I started patching up their wounds as quickly as I could. But of course I couldn't believe that a single attack could do that. After I was done, I stood back up and I heard a familiar voice "So you see." It said. It was the very voice that I heard in my sleep. Except is sounded more sorrowful. I looked behind me, there stood the Mew. She wore a yellow ribbon on her left ear, her eyes were the color of gold, and she had two bells tied on her tail. The bells made no noise when they were jingled around. "See what, that Mewtwo?" I asked "Yes, he is the reason I brought you here, the reason I turned you into a Pokémon. I believe with enough training, you could finally stop him." She told me. "So you brought me here to stop an evil Mewtwo from ruining everything?" I wanted to confirm. "Yes, I hope you can understand. I didn't know he had broken his seal so soon." She told me. "I have to find some way to stop him." I told her. "You alone could not take him on. But you and 7 others can. I will tell you where you can find them when you are trained. But until then, we will have to wait. He would slaughter you all if you tried at this point." She said. "I don't know if you are the one, but I have to have faith. When you have honed the strongest electric move, I will return. But I will continue to communicate through thought with you." She flew off into the sky. The sun was rising and Thunda and Blazer were waking up. I told them about what happened, and they were determined to help me. But my dark side was also gearing for a fight. "I will assist you Lord Mewtwo." My dark side proclaimed. "And why should I let such a weakling like you aid me?" The Mewtwo questioned. "Easy, my good side is who you are up against, and who knows me better than me?" my dark side replied. "True… Fine, but make yourself useful." The Mewtwo said. My dark side left. He thought to himself 'Everything is going as I planned.'
Thus began my journey. I will have to fight evil Pokémon, strange Pokémon, and things you wouldn't expect me to have to fight. Will I be scared? Duh, but I will not let my fear stop me. That was the prelude to my quest, and now, the real fight begins. It's me and my team vs. everything else.
My Life as a Pichu Pt. 1: A Journey's Prequel
