Thought I may as well post it here too.
All those memories of us
Frolicking away from a bus
To see the rich, green grass
On the hill we never did pass.
Gathering in as a group
It was our own little troup
We discussed all our dreams
We saw how the night sky gleams
Now here I am, sitting
In my office that isn't fitting
And dreaming of the old days
Of Emerald Cliffs and Sapphire Bays.
Why can't I go back then?
Why can't i see the past again?
I guess I should get my head of the clouds
Maybe I should stop thinking out loud.
I wish I could visit those days
Where our hearts were ablaze
I should stop dreaming these fantasies
Wake up and realise they're only
My memories.
