My new Team

Searching in the deapths of my Ruby PC, I've found Pokemon waiting for a Year to be trained and sent into Battle. I granted their wishes and created a New Team.

1. Spinda@Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP, 129 Defense, 129 Sp. Defense
- HP Fire/HP Electric
- Substitute
- Baton Pass
- Calm Mind
*Let's see if Spinda can Baton Pass...

2. Rapidash@Liechi Berry
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Attack, 6 HP
- Agility
- Overheat
- Double Kick
- HP Ground
*Great Sub-Killer with Double Kick.

3. Corsola@Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP, 252 Sp. Attack, 6 Sp. Defense
- Calm Mind
- Mirror Coat
- Ingrain
- Surf
*My "Mirror Coater". He's not bad at all...

4. Tangela@Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP, 129 Defense, 129 Sp. Defense
- Leech Seed
- Sleep Powder
- Sunny Day
- Solarbeam
*My Physical Sponge. Leech Seed+Sleep Powder+Leftovers keeps him alive. Sunny day for Speed and Solarbeam.

5. Lunatone@Leftovers
EVs: 252 Sp. Attack, 252 HP, 6 Sp. Defense
- Ice Beam
- Psychic
- HP Electric
- Reflect
*Gets Spinda's Calm Minds. Reflect for extra Defense.

6. Arbok@Leftovers
EVs: 252 HP, 129 Attack, 129 Speed
- Haze
- Glare
- Earthquake
- Rock Slide/Sludge Bomb
*My Hazer. Can also provide Para-Support and Attack. Dunno if I should take Sludge Bomb or Rock Slide.

I think you'll need a physical attacker in here somewhere.

Spinda - it works, I guess. Stick on HP Psychic to deal with the common hazers, since you have a fire and electric attack in your team already. Nature should be + Def/Sp Def, -Attack

Rapidash@White Herb
Nature: +Sp Att/Attack, - Sp Def
EVs: 252 Speed, 252 Attack, 6 HP
- Quick Attack
- Overheat
- Double Kick
- HP Grass

You need a QAer on your team. Overheat/White Herb works better here methinks. HP Grass to cover weakness (Ground/Water).

Corsola - Change that EV distribution, and that could be fine. Try 252 HP, 252 Sp Def, 6 Sp Att (since you have CM already and can always Baton Pass more). In fact, kill CM for something else, Ice Beam might work or HP Poison for Ludicolo. Refresh might also work here (since you lack a cleric).

Tangela - If you're going to Sunnybeam, I think you need more Speed
EV: Speed to get you to 200, max HP, rest in Defence
Don't bother with Tangela's Sp Defence, it's so low that even with EV it'll be downed with a non-super effective move. If you can Baton Pass some CM to him, great, but just watch out for Fire/Ice moves. As for the moves, I think it's fine, but be careful how you use him. For nature, try + Speed, - Attack (gives you more EV to play with in HP and Defence)

Lunatone - guess it works, although it looks like there are a few holes there.

Arbok - Use Sludge Bomb for anti-Ludicolo purposes, Rock's strengths are covered by the rest of the team. Also provides STAB. Not too sure about the EV distribution, but I guess it could work. Both Arbok's Defence and Sp Defence are too low for a hazer, but that's just my opinion.

Spinda- put EV in sp.def and hp only. Because Spinda got low stats, he can't possibly try to tank both type of attacks like a OU can. Might as well just dedicate him to one kind of attacks. Also, do away substitute and put on teether dance. Confusion may help it survive longer than sub.

Rapidash- lol I just got a Rapidash on my team last night too... except I got hypnosis over agility.

Corsola- movepool-wise Corsola is awesome. Stats wise Corsola is terrible. That's why it doesn't get used as Mirror coater. Its hp and sp.def are too low and it'll get killed before the mirror coat even strikes.

Tangela- I've seen a Tangela with this instead and it still works very well for a UU...

Tangela- [sp.atk + / atk -] @ leftovers/quick claw
EV: hp, def, sp.atk
-reflect
-giga drain
-leech seed
-HP special

Lunatone- well of course it has flaws... it is a UU. It's already the best moveset Lunatone can possibly have already...

Arbok- use sludgebomb for the sake of STAB
