hey guys. i'm new here and i need to have one of my competitive teams rated. its winning rate is decent, about 50% or more (maybe). the teams strategy is to use gengar or starmie to lure out their counters and try to destroy them.

    mamoswine @ focus sash
    jolly, 252 speed, 252 attack, 4 defense
    snow cloak

    stealth rock
    earthquake
    ice shard
    endeavor

my lead. sets up stealth rock and tries to take down as many pokemon as possible before being destroyed. not much else to say

    scizor @ choice band
    adamant, 4 hp, 252 speed, 252 attack
    technician

    bullet punch
    superpower
    u turn
    pursuit

choice band scizor. good at dealing massive damage to the opponent. scizor can trap ghost types, threaten dangerous pokemon like weavile, and scout with his u turn. overall, a powerful and deadly pokemon

    infernape @ life orb
hasty, 252 attack, 64 special attack, 192 speed
    blaze

    close combat
    stone edge
    grass knot
    overheat

mixape here is also good at beating pokemon which threaten gengar and starmie. he's really powerful and beats most other pokemon

    breloom @ toxic orb
    adamant, 12 hp, 252 attack, 244 speed
    poison heal

    spore
    stun spore
    sky uppercut
    seed bomb

dual status breloom is a unique surprise. he spreads status around the other team while they switch to deal with him. most of the time, breloom is a subpuncher, so this breloom takes advantage of that and paralyzes switch ins.

    gengar @ life orb
timid, 252 special attack, 252 speed, 4 defense
    levitate

    shadow ball
    focus blast
    hidden power fire
    thunderbolt

life orb gengar is truly a threat. he can hit opposing pokemon with his 4 coverage attacks and deal massive damage. part 1 of my core

    starmie @ leftovers
timid, 252 special attack, 252 speed, 4 hp
    natural cure

    surf
    thunderbolt
    ice beam
    rapid spin

starmie is the final part of my core. surf > hydro pump since the accuracy is important to me. rapid spin is good to spin away spikes and stealth rocks.

any thoughts/improvements? i'll replace any pokemon to improve my team. thanks

Focus Punch > Sky Uppercut on Breloom. While your opponent is asleep, you can nail them with Focus Punch without flinching.

For Scizor, it needs more bulk: 248 HP/252 Atk/8 Spe is the standard EV spread for CB Scizor.

Agreed, Make Scizor Bulkier, as Bullet Punch will have Priority anyway, so Speed is not (too much of) an issue,
note: DON'T make 252 HP EV's on Scizor, make sure it's 248... This is for Stealth rock effects...

secondly, if you are worried about Accuracy, I would go Rock Slide/Stone Edge, Stone edge has horrible acuracy, and Rock Slide doesn't have much of a power decrease... but that's just my opinion

note: This next opinion has almost no need, so you don't have to take it on board...
also, I know it isn't standard, and many people may dissagree, but I think Mamoswine should use Oblivious over Snow Cloak, or (and this is a trick I made to get the best of both worlds) make Mamoswine Female. I know Infatuation is an uncommon status, but I think it is more commonly used than Hail...

Just as a side note, using oblivious makes mamo's gender irrelevant lol :x

Depending on how you play your lead, I could see Aerodactyl combined with Magnezone causing you some problems, as Aero outspeeds all of your team, and when you eventually switch in Scizor to revenge it, it can just switch out and trap you with Magnezone, setting up a sub and potentially magnet rising up. This shouldn't necessarily bother you too much though, as with SR up it will take annoying damage upon switching in, and if it roosts you can kill it with EQ/CC from Mamo/Ape. Just keep Mamo "healthy" enough in order to ice shard it to make sure. (Idk how common Zone is nowadays, tbh, but it is still a threat)

Now, Scizor, especially scarfed versions (lol) is actually kind of a problem to you if your goal is to sweep through Gengar or Starmie, seeing as it can pursuit both of them if you decide to switch, and ohko's gengar w/ sr as well as killing off starmie w/ uturn. You could try luring it out by perhaps using SubSplit gar? Focus Blast will stil do a number to it, and it helps you take on Blissey which again makes it easier for Starmie to sweep.

Also, AgilityLucario kinda gives you problems, especially if it gets to set up on a pursuit from Scizor for instance. I'd actually suggest using Hippowdon (<3) in the lead slot, as it allows you to wall Aero w/o worries, and while the residual damage is annoying, it is guaranteed not to be broken by Lucario by any means other than specs. It can also quite comfortably take hits from things like scizor that otherwise could trouble your main sweepers, but idk.

    Good luck with your team!

Also, if you want to you could use Superpower over Sky Uppercut if you want Breloom to be more of a "hit and run" pokemon.
