I just can't believe how my supposedly "civilized and respectful" family thinks about this pokemon business, I mean, none of my friends have complained about it and my family(not all of it) complained today, I asked my older bro if he added me to msn and he started laughing and saying how could i like those things, and that I wasn't a kid, and to grow up, then I complained about it with my cousin, who SEEMED to understand, but started with the same thing, the worst part is that they are my family, and I can't reply or ingnore them, and I have many years left to be with them, so,anyway, has this ever happened to you?

yeah, mine does too, but the thing is that my bro somehow managed to miss it, even when we used to live together >_>, and my cousins SEEMED to take this with apparent maturity, but now, they're showing themselves and it's kinda sad, because they're older and have careers(some of them), yet they are less mature than friends of my same age, really, I hope they never find an important job...

you're right, I shouldn't care, but it is sad when your own family is part of that idiotic society that got many pokefans hiding, I do not hide it, but it hurts to see this, and to top things they occupy important places in society with that shameful moral integrity and respect

I know its hard to live with family who looks down apon the things you like. As an example my mom has banned Pokemon years ago so it's a secret I still hid from her.

*sigh* Oh, what a sad thing it is... Yep. It's happened ta me. And in worse circumstances than this... tch, I was in a powerful depression aswell as havin' relligious conflicts an' social conflicts with mom, an' whenever she ran outta arguments she started bashing my love for pkmn... when your own mom does it an' yar in depression too... it hurts so badly that it can't be described. It's like a street fight, when you're down an' they're still hittin' ya... T_T

Solution? Dunno. Look for understanding in others, an' try ta get away from such baka discriminators as much as ya can... my love for pkmn's been inhibbited here, and also, there ain't no more pkmn stuff here anymore... next summer, once I'm threw with hischool, I'm ganna head out ta a place where I can finally be understood an' appreciated for what I am. If it hurts ya as much as it hurts me, then I suggest you do tha same. <_<
