Hey just wanted to post one of my teams and another I was planning on making and see what y'all think of it.
First the team that's already been made:
Heracross
Jolly
Choice Scarf
Swarm (I know that it's not the best but w/e)
Moves:
Megahorn
Close Combat
Stone Edge
Pursuit
So the obvious scarf set for Mr. Cross. Works really well against a lot of things but with all choice item sets, needs prediction. It worked really well for me, it's just the whole prediction part usually screws me over :p
Just a little fun fact: He somehow was able to survive a double D-Dance Ice Punch from an Adamant Feraligatr. Don't know how but he did. That's why I love him X3
Venusaur
Calm
Black Sludge
Overgrow
Moves:
Leech Seed
Sleep Powder
Sludge Bomb
Energy Ball
Sleep-seed Venusaur. He actually survived a Psychic from an Espeon, put her to sleep, and proceeded to suck it's health a way while punching in decent damage with Energy Ball. Sludge bomb's just there for additional STAB. If I could've gotten something like HP Ice or Fire I would've used it but his is Electric so I didn't want to bother with it.
Snorlax
Careful
Leftovers
Immunity (again, would've preferred the alternative, but its awwright)
Moves:
Rest
Curse
Crunch
Body Slam
The classic Curse-Lax set. I couple of curses, usually 2-3, and you're set for most anything. Crunch could probably be subbed for EQ, but it's still nice to catch those damn ghost types ;)
Skarmory
Impish
Occa Berry (I play with items clause most of the time)
Sturdy
Moves:
Roost
Spikes
Drill Peck
Roar
I wanted whirlwind but forgot that it was an egg-move too, so I figured Roar would work just as well. The usual spike support/physical waller.
Porygon-Z
Modest
Life Orb
Adaptability
Moves:
Nasty Plot
Tri Beam
Dark Pulse
Ice Beam
Another common set for Porygon-Z. If you can survive a hit though, It definitely works. One nasty plot is overkill and with life orb, you're pretty much screwed. The only thing is, he usually gets killed before I have a chance to do anything and his speed isn't something that I can always rely on.
Swampert
Adamant
Choice Band
Torrent
Moves:
Waterfall
Earthquake
Stone Edge
Avalanche
A nice little CB set for Swampert. It works fairly well since he has a decent defensive stat and the highest base attack stat of any starter. Just watch out for grass types and you can kick some ass with this one.
I'll post my other set some other time. It's almost midnight where I am.
Comments and feed back on my set are very much welcomed.
