I recently had to redo my deck to make it tournament legal (I miss my Expedition Arcanine)

    2X Rocket's Mission
    2X Energy Search
    1X Switch
    1X Warp Point
    1X Master Ball
    1X Rocket's Poke Ball
    1X Steven's Advice
    1X Venture Bomb

    17 Pokemon

    1X Entei ex [91/95]
    1X Dark Magneton [39/109]

    1X Team Aqua's Eletrike [53/95]
    1X Team Aqua's Manectric [29/95]

I'm not actually sure as you see its practally a fire/electric based and the water energy is for Dark Dragonair/Dark Dragonite. I added those Team Aqua/Team Maga pokemon cause of the good HP and attacks on them, but Dark Dragonite and Entei EX are my heavy hitters. its been through some modifications before. i used to run Dark Arbok with some grass energy, but removed all that. I would have put in the Fire Red/Leaf Green Arcanine and growlithes in as more fire and cause Arcanine is my favorite but the energy cost for Heat Tackle is to much. The Expedition Arcanine was much better (expically with Fisherman to support it, can get the discarded energy right back from the discard pile)

so Dark Dragonite is the deck build you want? Here's the build...

    Pokemon (23):
    4 Dunsparce
    4 Dratini
    4 Dk Dragonair (Evolutionary Light)
    3 Dk Dragonite
3 Voltorb (anything with 50 HP)
    3 Dk Electrode
    1 Electrode ex
    1 Sneasel ex

    Trainers (22):
    4 Rocket's Mission / TV Reporter / Bill's Maintenance
    3 Steven's Advise
    2 Oak's Research / Copycat / Rocket's Admin
    4 Rocket's Poke Ball
3 Dual Ball or Great Ball
    2 Rocket's Hideout
    2 Rocket's Tricky Gym
    2 Pokemon Retriever

    Energy (15):
    4 DArk
    4 Dark Metal
    4 Rainbow
    4 R
    3 Lightning

Main attacker: Rocket's Sneasel or Dk Dragonite. Dk Trode is there for energy searching and manipulation. Trode ex is for a last-ditch attack and for energy retrieval. All the Trainers help you get out your stuff faster. Remember to put up a Dark Dragonair ASAP, as that's your search engine for the first 3-4 turns of the game. Tweak this as you see fit, but this is really one of the better builds of this deck.

I dont have many of those special energy or those EX pokemon
the only EX pokemon i have is
    Mewtwo EX (Ruby/Sapphire)
    Entei EX (Magma/Aqua)
    Blaziken EX (Magma/Aqua)
    Lapras EX (Ruby/Sapphire)
    Torchic [Star] (Team Rocket Returns)

Seems one of my biggest problems is to little trainers and to much pokemon and energyies and types

I also have only one Dark Electrode so its not in there yet
hers my deck rebuilt its Electric/Water built around Dark Dragonite with Support from Dark Gyarados and Dark Magneton

Also where i play the rstriced decks are lax got some there who play with very early decks even older than the Expedition sets (Expedition, Aquapolis, Skyridge)

    1X Rainbow Energy
    2X Double Rainbow Energy
    1X Scramble Energy
    8X Electric Energy
    8X Water Energy

    1X Rockets Hideout
    2X Switch
    2X Potion
    3X Rockets Mission
    2X Pokemon Retriever
    2X Steven's Advice
    2X Rockets Pokeball
    3X Celio's Network
    1X Suprise! Time Machine
    2X Copycat (Skyridge)

    1X Magikarp (Skyridge) 75/144
1X Corsola (EX Hidden Legends) 32/101

I'm not good with decks, but here goes nothing. It looks somewhat decent, but so much dragons and stuff. Overall, I like the deck. Good work. 9.5/10. I do think you need just a touch of improvement, but I can't put my finger on it.

its decent enough, but i'm to short of special energy like dark, dark/metal, and rockets and a second Dark Electrode is needed before i can put them both in and replace the Dark Magenetons (i guess) and if i ever play elsewhere in a tournament i'll have to replace one of those magikarp and those copycat cards with some newer ones

For me I don't like Trainer cards so mush, i have about 30 energys, 2-8 trainers and rest for Pokemons...

Just a question, whats the Tournament Rules? ('cause i got tons of Base Set cards... >_< )

There are currently 3 sets of Tournament rules. All are available at op.pokemon-tcg.com, so I don't feel the need to explain them here.

Trainers are the backbone of any deck. Try playing any well built Unlimited deck with 30 energies against any well built Unlimited deck with 30 Trainers. The deck with 30 Trainers will win every single time. They are extremely powerful, and need to be used any time necessary.
