With scratches, it's best to take things one step at a time, so while there is a long way to go with these, here are the main points:

First off, outlining. As a result of noobs leaving squiggly black lines in their sprites, too many people tend to shy away from black altogether. But black is very useful in outlining Pokemon-game sprites, and actually necessary in order to keep the right style. In experimenting with using black along more defined edges, you can also used to using the lighter outline color alongside it so 'soften' the edge between dark and light.

Secondly, I'd say you should look more at Pokemon sprites' colors because the colors you've used are lackluster. Try going more more contrast, and shift the shadows and highlights to the analogous colors (ie, for orange, have redder shadows and more yellowish highlights.) Even though it looks like you're going for more gray, toned-down colors, this will still help a lot.

And lastly, for now, I'd work a bit more on Pokemon design, and finding a balance between making it easy to recognize what something is, and giving is a complex design. I'd have to say that Crypted and the salmon are the best ones. The others just seem too simple, yet confusing (in other words, too simple of a design, and hard to really make out what part of them is what.)

So yeah, just keep practicing.

Um...thanks...I guess. I'll try to work on them...i personally like all of them...so suck on it!!! lol j/k but not really...or am I? dun dun duuuuuun!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

keep giving it your all and you'll get better in no time d(^o^)b

it won't hurt to take a look at some actual sprites, mess around with them, and get adjusted to the style.

Thanks for the advice...I'll take it...and use it for my next fakemon!!!

Uh Are we aloud to BUMP!??? I Forget what the rules said about that...

they are ok i suppose not the best but certainly not the worst i have seen i know how tricky scratch sprites can be my advice is to keep practicing and put a little more time in on the actuall designing stage all in all they some are above average others not so much but keep trying

Everybodies a critique lol but yeah I'll practice and with more of that good non-sticky practice I will move mountains!!! Muahahahahaha lol ^_^

Uh Are we aloud to BUMP!??? I Forget what the rules said about that...

Then why didn't you, you know, check the rules before posting?

Anyway, the sprites are a bit big, they look flat and the perspective is all wrong, the palettes could use some improvement too, as could overall design.

Uhhh... q_q lol I'm still a bigginer y'know...no need to be so harsh man....

And about the double post thingy...I WAS WAYYY TOO LAZY THAT DAY!!! HEHE

    Update!
~NEW~ H2O (Newly Discovered Molecule Pokemon) (Product of breeding Hyrogon with Oxyfar)

He perfectly realises you're a beginner, I'm sure. He's not being harsh, just honest and direct. He could go around saying it in a more comforting way, or say that your sprites are good, but will that help you? If you don't want him to critique that way, try to take away his (and my) reason to do so! Improve! Take a look at your sprites and try to find out why the perspective is wrong, why the pallete is poor, and try to fix it! Face your errors and learn from them!

Your newest sprite has a nice pallete, contrary to most of your other ones. But the shading is wrong. Real life study will do you well. Observe spheric objects and try to find out how the light falls on them.
Currently it's shaded like a plate, not a sphere.
    Take a look at this:
    https://www.itchy-animation.co.uk/light.htm
    That's sure to help out.

Ahhh so there is a brighter color on the opposite side of the sphere? Okay that did help...
I finally figured out that i should use the colors of actual sprites ^_^. and These two were made before I saw that tutorial so they are the same as H2O...

~NEW~ Oxyfar (Molecule Pokemon) (Basic) Hydrogon (Molecule Pokemon) (Basic)

(Simple recolors of the same sprite lol I'm Lazy ^_^

Since Hydrogon and Oxyfar breed to make H2O (which is a very good idea, I might add), maybe you should make Hydrogon come in twos, and be smaller. And you should at least take the time to make a different sprite instead of recoloring it.

Thanks for sayin its a good idea^_^ lol and i was lazy so i might get to making a second sprite...BUT WAIT THERES MORE!!! lol In cemistry, Oxygen AND Hydrogen don't like to be alone so to be cemistratically(?) correct I would have to make two Oxyfars in one sprite as well.
