I appreciate C&C and if you want to use some ask me first and always give credit. I do use the right click eraser method, and plus there is no other method.

Okay I have somethings you should do.

1. Use a set color. Like green. then use several shades of that color.
2. SAVE IN .PNG PLEASE. The quality becomes MUCH better.

I think it'd be wise to look up some recolouring guides, but everyone has to start somewhere right?
Also, as said, save as .PNG, the quality is **** loads better. :D

Fabulous. I LOVE them.

I can see the artistic approach you took, these are deep. It is a shame no one else seems to realise that these are conveying soul stretching emotions.

Seriously though, these are pits. The colours are horrible, and at times you've just got two non related or complimentary colours and bunged them on together.

They all lack shading. The ones that do have shading have darker shades where the lighter shades should be. The outlines aren't very good, either. I suggest you look for a recolor guide. I'd suggest just moving on to something more creative, but, hey, those aren't easy if you haven't mastered recoloring.

Yes, these need work.
The Darkrai looks very similar to its Shiny Form....​

Some of them are cool and I think the Gastly is kind of nice with its spooky colours and all, but hey, let's face it - those colours are hideous.

You shouldn't just put any colour in any place or you'll end up with recoulours that have no recognisable shades or patterns whatsoever. If you made them that way on purpose, I can understand that, because they do have a psychedelic feel to them, but you should try doing those more traditional recolours, too. It's just that these are a bit eyesore.

The best ones, I think, are Gastly, Giratina, Bidoof and Darkrai because you have maintained the shapes and shades with those, and I love the colours on Dialga although it looks a bit weird with no proper shadings. Oh, and the Bidoof's fine, too. Their colour pallette is an eyesore, but that can be intetional too, so I don't mind that.
Try to use colours of your own, not those from a ready pallette. Or do what I do and steal the pallette of another sprite to make your recolour! ;)

Well, no offense, but these are...bad.
You need to add shading and fix up the outlines. Also try not to use the default colors in Paint. The colors look eyeburning.

Always save in PNG! Always! They will look much better if you do that.

Keep practicing and you'll get better! ^^

If you are using ms paint, which i'll assume you are since that what the colors look like, DOUBLE CLICK A COLOR IN THE PALLETTE TO CHANGE IT. The best way to change a color is to move the hue bar up or down on the color you want to change.

always make a pallette log on your pic so you can remember what color you used. then you can just eye dropper it later!

NOw you should be able to do these recolors better! I would expect to see better stuff soon!

By the way, I just noticed that some of these sites look like you just pressed "invert colors". That's not the proper way to invert a sprite. If you're interested, I can try and dig up an invert guide from somewhere.

sorry guys... i just got a bit carried away there. i was reading through (since i do read though every post) and it was very anoying that they were all the same thing. i mean, we really only need to tell him once to save as png. it really gets anoying when we say the same stuff over and over, and the person is trying to fix there work, and they aren't getting any help because everyone's yelling at em for the same thing. i know how that goes, since i had to deal with it when i first started.

Again, i'm sorry if i offended anyone. I was just a bit hot under the collar.

And for SethCullen, i hope we haven't scared you with this episode! You'll get better with time, we all did!

That's not even remotely close to a devamp.Just because something is primarily neutral-colored doesn't make it a devamp. If that were the case, wouldn't that mean that Dewgong would always be a devamp? Devamps aren't just recoloring something black and white. Most RBY sprites weren't black and white anyway for that matter.
