[Other] My ROM Hack keeps freezing!

    I'm making a ROM Hack that basically features all the Pokemon in existence up until FRLG (Think SacredGold and StormSilver). It uses FR's engine.

    However, it freezes whenever I try to issue a battle command, and XSE crashes as soon as I open any scripts. Anyone know how to fix this? (I wish I could post a link to the ROM, but I really want to wait until my hack is finalized before getting MediaFire)

    If it helps, the only tools I used before this issue arised are:
    • XSE
    • Yet Another Pokemon Editor 0.9
    • AdvanceMap 1.92
    • A-Trainer
    • VisualBoy Advance Link

    What is the EXACT battle script you wrote? If you post the script I can debug it.

    Battle script was untouched for all i know

    What even is the battle script? How do I access it?

    Are you using an old version of XSE? Also what is that battle command you were saying? Can you post it here? It would be more helpful. I suggest you to understand the FR hack engine before doing something you don't know that may affect your hack in some cases and yet again, you don't know. lol
     
    I don't know exactly what version it is, but it's from 1/18/2009 if that helps.

    Basically, whenever I start a battle, if I try any command (ie: Pokemon, Move, Bag, or Run), it completely freezes.

    I have a hunch on what's wrong, but I'll attach a link when a) I've tried it, and b) I've gotten 15 posts.
