Smells like a ricer to me.

Nah, a ricer would have a gold paint job, dragon vinyls, and lime green neons.

I know the '96 Eclipse has a "built-in" supercharger. Do you plan on making performance modifications or only superficial?

Also, why'd you get the Fosgate speakers when you already had an Alpine/Pioneer combo?

My definition of a ricer is a foreign made car with nothing more than body mods to make it look fast, when in reality nothing is done to make it faster.

My "Ricer" Pushes 160 MPH on a 10 mile straight track. If you'd kindly take a look under the hood. That isn't stock under-hood. I've just listed my body mods. I've been working on this car for 4 years. it has 500 Horse Power and It's quite fast.

For my next project, I'm going to try and get a lone from the bank and purchase a Nissan R35 and tune that up for racing.

As for the speakers, I junked them out of my older car and put them into the Eclipse.

Good luck with that, man. Post pictures along the process.

Will do. glad to see people interested in my projects :)

Um... This isn't what your post said 20 minutes ago. I remember exactly, you said it barely got 140 and that it was stock under the hood. Nice editing. Also, there is no way you can get 500 HP and only have spent 4k on it. I've seen engines that cost over 4k alone (and that's cheap) and barely get 400 HP.

How stupid do you take us for?

Edit: None of your mods contribute to a "500 HP Engine". Geeze. Lie much? According to your post you've spent around 8k on this car overall, that'd maybe be enough to get you a big block engine that pushes that much power, let alone the car to go with it. Fail.

Not my kind of car, i would have bought a mid '50's american car, lowered it, shinny paint, wide white walls, maybe soup it up slightly, and drive the crap out of it.

    Only has 40,000 miles.
You need to put more miles on it!

$9,750 for all of that? Dude, that's wicked! Lovin' the colour.

Dude, you an idiot. Just stay out of my thread,

This is coming from the guy who is putting false stats on the internet about his ricer and actually think people believe it. Other people who don't know anything about cars may believe you, but I don't. You had me until the 500 HP, then I was just rofl'ing. Your car couldn't outrun a turtle, but that's fine. Not all cars are meant for speed. As you said yourself before you edited that post with a bunch of lies, your car is only meant for looks. You failed, majorly.

Nice car man. I love the Eclipse and the model year is one of the best 90s models. Also couldn't help but notice but with the purple color and the wing in the back dented like that it looks like a Croagunk. XD

Sweet car dude. I would have recommended getting an old RX7 though, much cheaper than the Eclipse. The car is sexy though. ;D

I think i'd rather have the new RX7 but, those would cost my whole life then some.

I'm not quite sure what I want to get yet. I have a bunch of different options i want.

A nice RX7 will cost you about 3,600 dollars - which is a great bargain.
