This is my first actual sprite thread! Woot! Well, before I start showing my sprites, I'll just have it known that the best thing I've got is MS Paint. While some of these may be a bit impressive for Paint, they likely won't be extrordinary, but here goes... BTW, I name them just for the fun of it.

NOTE- I think the way Photobucket is getting these through makes them look a little blurry, like they were saved in JPEG (but they are all saved as Bitmap images). If anyone knows how to fix that, then I'd greatly appreciate it.

NIGHTRO RECOLORS-Basically recolors to make Pokemon lime green and black. Gave them a special name because of the Quilava (named Nightro) they started with, which will appear in a fic I'm likely to write in the distant future.

The first thing I noticed is the .JPG. Which is a giant turn off, only save as .PNG. And sorry to burst your bubble, but about 90% of spriters use Paint.
Never use the default paint colors.
Allot of them are just copy and paste, and don't take much effort.
G/S/C style only uses 4 colors in each sprite, including black and a creamy white.

Really try to save on PNG rather then saving on JPG. That save file is used in other art uses, but in pixel art you try to save on PNG. Try to work on the outlines just a bit more too. ;)

I already said that I did not save as JPEG. But, I also didn't save as PNG. I'll try that though; thanks for the help.

And, the only default Paint color I used was neon green for the "Nightro" Pokemon, and I added darker shades for it as well.

Well, it is a bunch of recolors and a bit of fusions, that really it. I think you should try something more complicated, maybe and not only make recolors, which by the way do not look that good either.

the jpg comes because photobucket converts bmp to jpg or jpeg
but saving as png should fix that ;)

but on to your sprites
your recolors are not very impressive
now most people around here will say recolors are always not impressive because there easy
but recolors can look good like your bloodlust rayquaza and bloodred scyther i like those :P

on to your nightro recolors i don't like these very much but that's my personal oppinion

then your fakes now these are good although they could be better,
maybe try to work away the parts of the pokemon so they will look like fakes more

some of these are nice but somer are just simple copying and pasting
try make them more a like with colors and thing like that

and to your devamps
most of these are just pokemon without shading so try to give them some shading but still get the devamped look
