4th Gen My ss keeps freezing

every time i go north from goldenrod the game just goes black and when i press a button the music screws up. Like the screen goes black no buttons work and the music plays
it did it once during a battle annoying so i had to turn of and start again annyoing if any one knows how to fix it then that would be helpful

its because your using a pirated copy of a copyrighted game with a anti-pirate codec built in the game code lol its the anti copy software so there! you dont like it yes? then buy a real Japanese copy! if you dont want to then just keep trying to go north. im not against using roms but its against the law to have a rom and not the real game in hand.
