also how the hell do you all get so many shinys?
im over 20hours into Pokemon Pearl (about 12hours) and Platinum (about 8hours)
and i have yet to encounter 1 shiny :(

It depends on what you want now :P
I can offer loads of stuff except shinies and events :P

Most people get all these shinies from PokeRadar chaining or just pure luck.

28 hours isn't too much at all, seeing as there is a 1/8192 chance of running into a shiny (or 1/200 if you have a chain of 40 with the PokeRadar)

The PokeRadar is an item you obtain after completing the Sinnoh Dex. It allows you to "chain" pokemon by catching e.g a Zubat, then you run into another Zubat, catch it, then you run into a third Zubat, faint it (you can either faint it or catch it) and then you keep on doing that until you see a "shiny patch" which contains a shiny.

Lemme check.. I think my Rash Lv 1 Bagon has both actually.. i'll just have to confirm it..

Yup, its moveset is:

Rage
Hydro Pump
Dragon Dance
Rain Dance

So we'll trade this Bagon for something random with the Stealth Rock TM then? :3
