Okay, first of all, I'm posting to ask about what you think aobut the over all strategy, not about teh strenght of teh cards. I've known people to make big whiny fusses because the person tehy're reviewing doesn't ahve the biggest and best cards that are out. ( NOt pointing any fingers...) I mean, comeo on, I'm not made of money and I play three different games. I can only spend so much.

Anyway, with that said, Here is teh insect deck I made.

    4-Starred Ladybug of Doom X 2

    teh Strategy:

The bulk of my strategies focuses around six cards: DNA Surgery, Rivalry of Warlords, Insect Barrier,Fiary King Truesdale, Prickle Fiary, and Insect Princess.

Strategy 1: Activate Rivalry of warlords. Since my deck is mostly insects, and most people run decks with multiple types, it will do more harm to my opponent then me.

Strategy 2: After activating strategy 1, activate DNA Surgery to make all monsters Insect. That way , unless the opponent declared insect during the activation of Rivalry of Warlords, all their face up monsters will be destroyed as soon as they hit the field. (Unless they activate the over used Jinzo card.)

Strategy 3: After activating DNA Surgery, summon Insect princess. That way it doesn't matter what monster she kills, she still gains the five hundred boost bonus for each kill.

Strategy 4: The classic insect strategy. Actiave DNA Surgery, then insect Barrier

Strategy 5: Once Fairy King Truesdale has been summoned, activate DNA Surgery to make all face up mosnters Plant. That way his 500 point boost applies to all my monsters.

Strategy 6: Once Prickle Fairy hits the field, activate Dna Surgery and maek all face up mosnters insect. Thanks to Prickle Fairy's effect, which prevents teh opponent from attacking any insects on your side of the field as long as she's face up, and since DNA Surgery makes her an insect as well, the opponent is unable to attack. This is what I call my "Battle Lock", where the opponent is unable to attack with just monsters.

again, I want you to review the strategies, not so much the cards. I've seen reviews about the cards get really sour, and I'd rather avoid that. Strategy, not cards.

insect decks are pretty hard to make
(i'm not even gonna rate it)

Okay. The plant strat should be gone. I don't think you'll need it.

Strat 4 you should use Messenger of Peace and Gravity Binds instead. They're more powerful as they can stand alone. Surgeory and Barriers don't do anything on their own, which hurts quite a bit.

Don't have MoP or GB. Been trying to get Gb for I don't know how long. DNA actually does stand alone well in this deck, espcially with Prickle Fairy or Insect Princess.

Don't know what MoP does, but the reason I use DNa Surgery anyway is because of it's convenient use in many ohter strategies, plus Gb prevents my strong monsters from attacking, which is a major damper on my battle strategies involving Insect Princess ( Which I try to use whenever possible).

Still though, I understand taking out the plant strategy. There aren't many plants in this deck anyway. The only real reason Truesdale is in here is because plants are in here already and he fits in Forest.

Messenger of peace is similar to bind in a nutshell.

But I'm recommending more swarms also for clearing after lockdown (either way). Might be an extra strat or something.

O, i'm not sure on the battle lock also, since Upper Deck sucks with its rulings (I've had seen at least 6 or 7 different rulings in regards to Legendary Fisherman...some say it's a lock, some say it's not. Others say it's impossible...oh it's a mess).
