Pokémon Mysterious Dungeon Red Rescue Force for the GBA and Blue Rescue Force for the DS are two upcoming Pokémon games based on the hit RPG Series, Mysterious Dungeon.

Pokémon Mysterious Dungeon comes in two versions, one on the GBA, one on the DS. However some of you are probably asking "whats the difference?" The answer is not a lot. However it does make use of the touch screen and both screens.
    Below are all the differences:
    1. Your starter Pokémon is a fire pokemon in Red version, and water pokemon or Pikachu in blue.
    2. All the menu's normally brought up by the Start Menu in the GBA version can be easily accessed via little icons at the bottom such as the Rescue Force's status like HitPoints and so forth. The dungeon map can also be transferred to the top screen and gives you the information for your team aswell
    3. Text previously displayed throughout the game is accessible such as experience gain and other bits of text so you can remember what your mission is.

At the start of the game your character is turned into a Pokémon, one of the fire starters if you are playing red or one of the water starters if you are playing Blue or Pikachu. You are then asked a set of questions to determine the Pokémon you turn into. You then start to try and make a Ranger Force.

The Rescue Force has to go around doing tasks for other Pokémon such as helping to find a lost Caterpie or tasks like that. When they successfully do a task their reputation goes up and the amount of tasks possible and you have to compete with other teams and get a better rating.

Pokémon in the game can use their well known attacks such as Bite, Bubble, Thundershock & Smokescreen, as well as new items that can help out, such as the Explosive Seed which hits the foe square in the face, and Graveler's Stone which is good to take enemies in the distance.

There are also dungeons in this game that RANDOMISE whenever you enter it...it'll never be the same twice! This add's great replay value. You can link them up by having both Red & Blue in your DS. All games are connectable; Red with Red, Blue with Blue and Red with Blue. You contact people with Pelippers in one of the area in the game.
If you fail a mission, you can send a help e-mail out which another player can pick up when they've linked up with you. You can recieve this at the Pelipper area.
The recieving player can go to the dungeon and see their friend and where they are stuck at and they will see the player stood in his tracks. Use a Revive Mail and send it to your friend and he can continue with the mission. You will recieve a thank you mail when you're done and thus both of you get items and Rescue Force points
On the GBA, another way to link up is via the Password system again in the with Pelippers and request and receive help if you have no link cable.

    enjoy

Those games do sound pretty cool, never heard of them myself, though. X3 Anyway, this thread would make a better fit in General Games Discussion~

I've heard of Rangers but not the other one, new release to the Pokemon Community! Thanks for the information :)

if i buy the japanese version of rangers will it work on an english ds and will i be able to change the language to english?

In Japan my host family had Pokemon Mysterious Dungeon: Blue Rescue force and Pokemon Rangers. I can't add anything more to the Mysterious Dungeon, but I know that Pokemon Rangers you're still a person trying to capture Pokemon, just in a different way. Your Pokemon follow you on the screen, and you can see wild Pokemon on the screen as well. If you approach a wild Pokemon it goes onto your touch screen. Then you just have to circle the stylus around it enough times to catch it. That's all I found out about that game.

Are these game in english or japanese?
