4th Gen mysterious girl

    When u go to old chateau, in the forest, u go in the farthest door in the back and through the second farthest door to the right in the long hallway, u see a girl on the room to the right. she goes through the door. And i quickly went in the room but i found nothing but an item......who is she? does she have a purpose?
     
    she actually turned into that item... so when u picked that item up... u picked her up
     
    I don't think so, I belive she is a ghost.
     
    yea... if you have a relicant in your first slot and a wailord in ur last... you will encounter a shining dialga/palkia... depending on wat version you have... instead of finding the item
     
    well i know she ddin't turn into the item cuz i saw the item. then the girl came from the door then out. with the item undisturbed. Well maybe that shining pokemon "legend" is true. but i already picked up the item: Subsitute TM. hmmm..........................................how mysterious
     
    I've picked up the item, gone back, and she was there again. Still don't know who she is though.
     
    did u talk to her, what does she do anyway?
     
    oh i tried to return and enter the room for 4 times. i only saw her once :'(

    IT ISN'T. That jerk's just trying to fool you by making something up (actually, that method was how to unlock the location of the Regis in R/S/E).

    The girl is a ghost, just thrown in there to try to add to the "spookiness" of the Old Chateau.
     
    ITS A GHOST! I encountered a ghost, but mines an old man.... its something they put there to get you curious... and catch the rotom in the TV..... it should be there
     
    At first I thought she was some kind of girl I had to save or escort, but I searched and there was nothing. She's a ghost from the Old Chateau, and I heard (well, read) here in a thread that there's also an old man in the dinning room, though I've only seen the girl.
     
    but i bet theres something up with that girl/man

    Hehehe, I'll tell you something: I didn't even saw the girl! I'll check again, but I searched all the rooms and I have the item, but there is no girl by me.

    I've never noticed that, I just went in there to catch Rotom and thats all, hey is she still there after you catch Rotom?

    There are actually 3 ghosts there, one of which is Rotom.

    You'll first see the little girl looking around and then disappearing at the far right room in the main room hall by going into the second last. For the first time yes, she will drop an item, which is Substitute.

    Right after that, go to the dining room, and you'll see an old man looking around and then just floating away.

    And Rotom can be found on the TV. =P Pretty creepy, no?
     
    Rotom's not a legendary, it's a one-off, like Riolu, Lapras, or in the old games, Eevee, etc.
