3rd Gen Mysterious Missingno

    i have been wondering that does missingno itself really exist, or do you yourself just mess the game up. i also need to know how to find it. I have found rumours that involve Cinnabar and man in Viridian. Help me!
     
    Ah, the classic Missingno. cheat. Well, the one you've heard is for the original Red and Blue/Green versions, this doesnt work on fire red.

    However in the 3rd Gen, there is a variety of Missingno.'s. ONe looks like the empty Pokédex data for a poké you havent seen, the black ball with a question mark in it. The other looks like 2 pixellated question marks, which functions as a real pokemon and doesn't glitch your game. The pixellated ? Missingno, I have been hunting on my Sapphire ever since I heard of it, I've been searching for it's encounter code for Action Replay V.3 if anyone knows what it is?

    Anyway, hope this helped :)
     
    I used a cheat code to get Missing No. and I ran into it in the wild and I caught it and it messed up my game. I dont know if I was suppose to catch it or not.

    And i heard somewhat a cheat like this:
    1:talk to man in Viridian who gets a weedle
    2:Fly to Cinnabar
    3:Kill green Tentacool. (get it and u have a Pokeres)
    4:surf right in the east shore of Cinnabar and you find Missingno.

    But the problem is: you can see man show the Weedle catching only once when you havent even reached Pewter City.

    well missing no is in the original red and blue and along with finding missing no on the side of cinnabar island you can also find lvl 100 pokemons along side it but dont catch these cause they glitch the game its really cool. cause one time i cause a lvl 100 golduck but one i got lvled it up i glitch my game so better not to do it
     
    Actually, I've been able to find Missingno. simply by surfing up and down the east coast of Cinnabar Island without any of the prior steps mentioned (red/blue of course). And if you catch one, it'll screw up the Hall of Fame I think.
     
    this is a little off topic but i remember painting over an old pokemon card with shiny nailpolish and other stuff to make a shiny missingno card in elementary school, heh. man, i've been playing pokemon for ages o_O
