    According to my sources, the special for the new Mystery Dungeon games, aired yesterday without warning. I have watched it and it was pretty good and faithful to the games so it's quite fun to spot things you have played through, (if you know the games of course)!!!

    Did you manage to watch it? If you didn't then get a copy in the usual way you would get an new episode...

    Here you can discuss this special if you want, I just wanted to get this news out!

    Surprisingly, I did not hear about this. I knew of the new special when it aired in Japan, and there would have been a dub version, given the success of the first one, but nothing else. Or was there news about this, and I didn't catch it? I'm sure one of you would have said something about it.

    Anyway, I'll treat this as the official discussion of it. And thanks for catching this.
     
    Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Specials

    Uhh... hey guys i was just wondering if.... do u think that the pokemon anime creators would continue more pokemon mystery dungeon episodes? cause i'm addicted to it... finished darkness and now starting time.... DAMN
     
    Well don't think they will. As the PMD1 episode seemed more like a movie. It went for like an hour and a half xD. I haven't managed to find the second one yet. I guess i should start looking harder xD
     
    Both PMD specials are meant to promote their game equivalent, so I doubt that there are more episodes comming. Perhaps there will be a third one when GameFreak is going to create PMD3.
    Usually games are being promoted through the regular anime, either by some modifications through the opening. For example Blastoise, Charizard and Venusaur to show up, Pokemon PMD related characters, Solana/Hinata and Jackie.
    Or by simply adding making them appear in an episode like

    Or get an entire special devoted like "Raikou: The Legend of Thunder"

    But that is a little hard to do that with talking Pokemon who use items to boost their stats and owning a store etc. That's is why I believe that these particular has their own special.

    I wanted to catch it, but I never heard anything much about it, so I didn't realize it was airing so soon.
    (Probably because I've been on hooked on Pokemon Amethyst for the last week of my life.. >_>; )
    I'll have to find it online somewhere, unless it will eventually re-air on TV. I'll go youtube it or something, but I'm glad it was dubbed.
    As much as I dislike alot of the dub voice castings, hearing Pokemon speak in english is always amusing to me. xD
     
    Interesting to say the least. It's kinda funny hearing Pokemon talk. =P

    Oh and as for voice's, Corphish has Dr. Nambla's voice from Team Rocket.
     
    I absolutely did not know that this aired. Someone should had said something before it aired.
    I am just about to watch it on Youtube. Me and my sister already watched the SUB on Youtube.
     
    Ohhh what!? I missed it!? Ack. Hopefully it'll be repeated, I'm sick of watching everything on the computer

    Actually, that was Meowth's old voice actor. Maddie Blaustein returned to the Dub by playing Chatot. This makes the 2nd main VA from 4Kids to return to Pokemon under PUSA
     
    I got this DVD for FREE today at the Darkrai event! How unexpected!

    - In the Japanese version, Piplup is a girl. In the dub it is hard to tell by the voice alone (sounds like a boy and a girl). However, at the start it says the Pokemon found is a BOY.
    - Wigglytuff was a boy in the Japanese version (I'm sure) but sounded like a girl in the dub although I'm sure they referred to him as a "he"
    - Sunflora's voice is horribly high-pitched (voiced by Rachel Lillis)
    - Opening and credit theme are kept EXACTLY the same (except they changed the text to English, ovbiously
    - Best voices are: Grovyle (sounds like the Japanese one and voice by Dan Green?) Chatot (he just is...Maddie Blaustien) and Shinx until I found out it was supposed to be a boy (sounded just like Misty, so Rachel Lillis) and Kecleons, no idea who they're voiced by
    - Chimchar's and Piplup's voics are bad (which is stupid since they're the main characters), Sunflora easily worst and 2nd worst probably Wigglytuff
     
    WHAAAAAT??? This special aired? IN ENGLISH IN AMERICA???!!! If it was on Cartoon Network...then I guess its my fault for missing it, because I'm not really watching that channel anymore. Well....off to Youtube!! *creates new tab*
     
    So they'll put this thing on DVD but they won't air it on TV? What's up with that?
