Mystery Dungeon Blue Help

I'm curious about something...what level should I be before I go off to meet Xatu for the first time? And before I get chased out of town? I'm level 19 [Mudkip] and my partner is level 20 [Pikachu, for lack of any other Electric-type] right now, so I'm just wondering if that's enough or if more escorting Pokemon to their friends in a monster infested dunegon is needed.

personally, i dont know for sure. I did that a long time ago and i cant remember. But i just followed the storyline, and did no extra training, really. I would say you're fine. To me.

wow you got chased out of town at a pretty low level and you still have moltres coming up soon

I think you have to start the dungeon again if you failed to beat Moltres so never mind.
You levels may be up during that time

I did that part when mine was about level 25-30 (did random jobs, and got red version) but the level you're all right. When I played the game for the first time that was the level that mine was.
