Mystery Gift Issue in Expansion: Wrong Items Received

In the Expansion, the Mystery Gift feature seems to have a problem. If you receive a Wonder Card, you'll get it, but the in-game item will be different. For example, I received an Eevium Z instead of the Old Sea Map. I also tried the Mystic Ticket, and the same issue occurred.

I suspect this is due to the new item IDs. However, I noticed there's a Mystery Gift feature in the Expansion. How do I use that?

I don't think there's an easy way to fix it?
The Wonder Cards probably use item Ids from the vanilla game, and effectively, while the Item No. 376 in vanilla Pokémon Emerald is the Old Sea Map, in the expansion it's the Eevium Z.
You'd have to modify the ROM file of the Distribution Cartridge or something of that sort, I'd imagine.

    That's what i suspected
Sounds logical, but I don't know enough about it. Hopefully, someone will fix it in the future.
