It says in the Pokédex entry for Slowbro it says!

DP = Though usually dim witted, it seems to become inspired if the SHELLDER on its tail bites down.
Ruby = SLOWBRO's tail has a SHELLDER firmly attached with a bite. As a result, the tail can't be used for fishing anymore. This causes SLOWBRO to grudgingly swim and catch prey instead.
Sapphire = SLOWBRO's tail has a SHELLDER firmly attached with a bite. As a result, the tail can't be used for fishing anymore. This causes SLOWBRO to grudgingly swim and catch prey instead.
Emerald = Its tail has a SHELLDER firmly attached with a bite. As a result, the tail can't be used for fishing anymore. This forces it to reluctantly swim and catch prey.
FireRed = When a SLOWPOKE went hunting in the sea, its tail was bitten by a SHELLDER. That made it evolve into SLOWBRO.
LeafGreen = The SHELLDER that latches onto SLOWPOKE's tail is said to feed on the host's leftover scraps.

So with all the SHELLDER in the Pokédex entry's wouldn't that mean it would be hard to have SHELLDER and SLOWPOKE in you team together just in case SHELLDER bites SLOWPOKES tail and evolves them both into SLOWBRO!

that is weird and when I remember an episode when they showed a slowpoke having a Shellder on its tail and it didn't evolve. When you look at it, doesn't even look like a Shellder and the requirements should be to have a Slowpoke and a Shellder

In answer to the question at hand, not really, if you keep one of them in its Poke Ball while you have the other out. Sure, you can't really use them for two-on-two matches, but otherwise, you know?

Also, you could probably train the Shellder to not go after Slowpoke's tail, although this may be like trying to teach a puppy not to take a leak on your carpet when it's overexcited.

Thats weird, by the way, shellder dosen't even look like the shell on slowbro's tail. so where does the shell on slowbro comes from????

    It dosen't make sence!

Probably, it's a joint evolution. You know how Pokemon change appearances when they evolve? Could be the same thing here, only a heck of a lot more drastic. But since Shellder isn't its own Pokemon, it might still be just a Shellder (only rendered incapable of attacking because, you know, it's kinda busy keeping itself clamped onto Slowbro/king).

It's a bit like Mantykes' evolution to Mantine in Diamond and Pearl (You need a Remoreid in your party and level up Mantine) But since that method of evolution wasn't coined until DP, Slowbro just evolves at the required level.
