Even now that I have learnt of all nOOb's negative connotations, it still fails to strike me as an insult. I could call myself a nOOb, be called a nOOb, and only be left mildly humoured. Maybe it's because I haven't devoted much of my time to forum lingo and such or maybe its because I just don't care what some people think of me. Either way, call me a nOOB, call me a pretzel, you would be doing the same thing.
