Now as you may know or not know, There are many forms of competitive Pokemon. There is the VGC the one I play and the format I attended In NAIC, The TCG the complicated competitive card game which I sometimes play In my freetime, and finally the competitive Pokemon GO scene which frankly, I would have never know about if not for me checking out live streams on the official Pokemon youtube channel.

Before I continue, I would like to thank Alex_Among_Foxes for nearly putting my ENTIRE team together, He was able to get 5/6 Pokemon I needed and was able to quickly hyper train them, and get the correct tera types. Of course there will still a couple of finishing touches I needed to make (Such as movesets, natures, items etc.) and needing to get 50 electric tera shards on my Miraidon but I was the person that owned it in the first place, so no harm no foul.

Now if you want to hear full game by game explanations about how I did, you can contact me In private messages, But for times sake I will quickly skim through the team info, and my placement.

For starters, lets look at the team consisting of: Scream Tail, Flutter Mane, Incineroar, Amoonguss, Gothitelle, and Miraidon.

Scream Tail (The pokemon no one would dare touch with a 10 foot long pole, AKA my defensive perish song user)

Tera Type: Steel, Because It is by far the best defensive type In the game, and because it resisted 2/3 of scream tails weaknesses.

Item: Booster Energy, So i would be one, if not the fastest Pokemon on the field so I could support my team quicker.

Moveset: Perish Song, Protect, Thunder Wave, and Disable.

Gothitelle: (The goth girl shadow tag user :3)

Tera Type: Water, Because it has few weaknesses and It resists moves from common Pokemon that otherwise would threaten it.

Item: Sitrus Berry, To keep it alive below half health.

Moveset: Protect, Fake Out, Charm, Psychic.

Flutter Mane: (Mega Misdreavus AKA The offensive perish song user)

Tera Type: Ghost, Im too lazy to change it tbh XD

Item: Focus Sash to keep it alive for at LEAST one turn.

Moveset: Protect, Perish Song, Shadow Ball, Moonblast.

Incineroar: (God no not the cat PLEASE NOT THE CA-)
I added Incineroar forgive me god of my sins

Tera: Ghost, So i was immune to fake out and Ghost is a good defensive type in general

Item: Assault Vest weird for a perish trap team but makes incineroar both physically and specially bulky.

Moveset: Fake Out, Darkest Lariat, Flare Blitz, U-Turn.

    Amoonguss: (DUNDUNDUNDUNDUNDUNBADADUN The sus mushroom)

Tera: Water, Just a good defensive tera type on Amoonguss in general, Resists fire one of its main weaknesses.

Item: Rocky Helmet, To deal good damage to urshifu-r if amoonguss redirects it with Rage Powder.

Moveset: Spore, Rage Powder, Clear Smog, Protect.

Miraidon: (Tera Electric 252 SPA modest choice specs hadron engine electric terrain boosted Discharge into a resisted hit... IT ONE SHOTS!!!)

Tera: Electric, Two words: Maximum damage

Item: Choice Specs, Two words: Maximum damage

Moveset: Electro Drift, Discharge, Volt Switch, Draco Meteor.

That was the team so I went off to New Orleans, Louisiana to compete in NAIC in the masters division.

I was not able to make day 3 or top 8 unfortunatley but I was able to get top 128 as a new competitor In the masters division, I finished with a record of 6-5 and had good good matches and bad bad matches, I think some reasons why I lost is because I was fatigued from the long trip, and I had to face many players using Calyrex Shadow balance core.

Anyways I hope you all enjoyed this short team review for NAIC have a good one!
